My Last Challenge for Stampin' for the Weekend :(

It was a really hard decision but it's been difficult  keeping up with my DT commitments lately & I've started jewellery making & am just getting into sewing (with not enough hours in the day). Something had to give (& it was nearly my sanity lol) so I'm having to trim down my design teams, I didn't really want to but apart from giving up my job (which, unfortunately I can't afford to do lol) it was the only option.  I've been part of the SFTW team since 2009! OMG where have the years gone?  I will really miss it.

...Anyway on to the challenge which this time is BINGO & I used the middle line: Glitter/Sparkle, Lace & Butterflies. The cute image is from Di's Digis & coloured with ProMarkers, I used 2 border punches & inked & glitter the edges of the image & sentiment.  I did some machine stitching & finished of with punched butterflies, gems & a lace bow.  There are lots of options with this challenge so I hope you will be able to join us & check out my wonderful teamies to see what they've been creating :)

The challenges:
Challenge up Your Life - Get Well Soon
Moving Along With The Times - Lots of Layers
Digital Tuesday - Make It Sparkle
Cute Card Thursday - Winged Things
Diva's By Design - Bling It Up
Hiding in My Craft Room - Glitter! Glitter!
PaperCrafting Journey - Make It Cute
2 Sisters - Stitching
Little MIss Muffet -  Fancy or Lacy

I hope you've had a wonderful week, I must admit I'm really glad it's Friday - 5 o'clock can't come soon enough lol :D

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Just in case you didn't notice we are well into the festive season lol.  So this time the challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend is just that - "Christmas".  This is great for me as I still have quite a few cards to make (the ones for special family & friends).  I kept this card quite clean & simple (mainly cos I didn't have much time).  The papers & flowers were from a Craftwork Cards Christmas goody bag & the snowman is a digital image from DigiStamp Boutique.  I finished the card off with some glitter & pearls.  Our fabulous sponsor this time is Simon Says Stamp & have the chance to win a $20 to spend in their online store - no excuses not to join us ;)

The challenges:
Bunny Zoe - Anything Christmas With Pearls
PaperPlay - Snowman

DigiStamp Boutique - December Competition
Bearly Mine - Un-Traditional Christmas

I hope you're having a wonderful week.  It's been a bit strange since our youngest son moved out just over a week ago but he has been to tea twice & we've been to visit him once so it's not been so bad (& there is LOT's less washing & ironing lol). Thanks for looking & if you have time to fit in the challenge - good luck :)

Fairies & Friends

The Stampin' For The Weekend challenge this week is "Friends" & I used this stamp which I have had for absolutely ages (in fact I think it was one of the very first ones I bought) & I it is still one of my favourites, I got it from Willow Designs & I doubt they stock it any more.  I coloured the image with chalks for a change & I like the soft feel they give so I think I will be using them more.  I used glitter on the fairies wings, on the leaves & around the edge of the image.  The papers are "Pocket Full of Posies" from DCWV (not digi!) & finished off with some stitching, a flower, punched heart & butterfly, ribbon, lace & gems.  I hope you will join us if you have time in between your Christmas crafting & this time we have 2 fabulous sponsors: LOTV & In2Stamps so that's double the incentive to enter ;)

The challenges:
Stamps R Us - Bling It On
Dutch Dare - Recipe
Creative Craft - Free For All
Bearly Mine - All My Favourite Things (Fairies, Friends, Sparkle, Butterflies)
Sassy Cheryl's - Anything Goes
