All Dressed Up Challenge Time :o)


Today is the start of the new challenge at All Dressed Up (always Anything Goes with an All Dressed Up image).  I thought I'd make a Christmas card & this is my first one this year (doesn't seem to matter how early I start I always end up with lots still to make last minute lol) but it IS a start ;o).  If you want to join us but don't have any images you will find some fab freebies HERE.  I did some paper piecing for the cat & dog.

Last All Dressed Up Challenge Before Christmas



Hello, sorry I've been AWOL but I had an accident on my bike when it was icy early in the morning on my way to work & have been out of action for over a week, I'm still struggling & can hardly walk & I can't drive (& definitely can't bike, not that I want to at the moment anyway).  I did go back to work this week but it is very tiring.  Anyway on to the challenge, which is Anything Goes as usual (+ an All Dressed Up image).  I haven't been able to do much crafting but I just about managed to colour this gorgeous image called Little Angel & recycled a card I had made a while ago.  I hope you can join us :o)

Christmas is Coming...



& I really need to get a move on with my Christmas crafting!  Luckily All Dressed Up have some gorgeous Christmas images & I chose "All Dressed Up For Christmas" for my card for the new Anything Goes challenge (using an All Dressed Up image or papers).  I did some paper piecing & added lots of gems to the tree.  The papers were from my stash & I finished off with some Glamour Dust, fabric greeting, bow, die cut poinsettia & brad.  

All Dressed Up is now 2 years old - can you believe that - and to celebrate we are having an extra special Birthday Blog Hop starting on 7th November to coincide with the November New Release.

All Dressed Up New Challenge Time...




Yes today is the start of another All Dressed Up challenge, as usual it's Anything Goes with an All Dressed Up image & there are so many to choose from.  I need to get a start on my Christmas cards so I used "It's Snowing" & did some paper piecing on the snowman's scarf and hat.  The papers are from my stash (I have sooo many Christmas papers) & I finished off with some sticky ribbon, gems, die cut poinsettia & a bell, oh & Glamour Dust around the outline.  I hope you can join us.

Christmas In June...



I've usually made a few more Christmas cards than I have by this time in the year but then again I much prefer making them when it is cold & wintery & I can have my Christmas music on :o).  Anyway this card was going to be for a Sentimental Sundays challenge sponsored by Fred She Said but for some reason or another it never got finished until now.  The papers are from my stash (might have been from a freebie pad with a magazine), the image is Pointy Poinsettia Flowers (pre-coloured) & I used some micro beads for the centre.  I finished the card with a die cut border, gems & a greeting.

I'm Back!



Hello & Happy New Year everyone (hope I'm not too late to say that).  I hope you all had a very happy Christmas as I did :)  I'm really sorry I wasn't around much the latter part of last year but I'm determined to do better this year, I really missed blogging & visiting your fab blogs.  I managed to do some crafting though not as much as I would like & I just couldn't find time to keep up my blog.  I was lucky enough to only lose 1 follower so thank you guys for sticking with me, I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs again :o)

So to start this year off we have a new challenge at Sentimental Sundays & the theme is "Winter Sparkle" (with a sentiment) & our sponsor is our very own Sandy from Scribbles Designs & I used her Let it Snowmen image which I water coloured with Sakura glitter pens (though you can't see the sparkle in the photo).  I made an ATC with a little envelope to go with it (both have some Glamour Dust added too).  I hope you can join us & why not check out the other DT members creations for more inspiration.

Christmas is Coming :o)


Yes, I love Christmas & have at last started making some Christmas cards (& decorations).  Work has got worse but luckily crafting is such a good stress reliever.  Luckily we're on holiday this week & having a few days away in London :o) (& hopefully recharge our batteries).  Today's new Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Brads, Buttons &/or Bows".  The image I used was from Crafter's Companion (I think), the paper from my stash & I finished the card with a punched snowflake, button, Bakers twine & greeting.  Our fab sponsor is Paper Pretties & there is the chance to win 6 images of your choice so I hope you can join us.

Button Up...


Well that's another week that's flown by & it's the weekend again so that means time for another Sentimental Sundays challenge & this week the theme is "Buttons" (+ a sentiment).  Like I said previously due to lack of time for crafting I am keeping it CAS.  This card was made with another Pink Petticoat image, which is paper pieced. Celebrate the Season...


I really need to make more Christmas cards as I've only made a couple over the year & Christmas is creeping up on us (a bit too quickly for my liking as I have lots to do).  As our challenge at Sentimental Sunday is "Bling It Up" (+ a sentiment) I seized the opportunity & made a card with a Pink Petticoat's Diva Doodles digital image.  I colored the holly with Sakura Tiara pens & added gems for the berries.  The poinsettia is die cut from glitter foam & the centre is micro beads (the DP is from my never ending stash of papers),  ooh I added a bit of Glamour Dust too in case there wasn't enough sparkle lol.  Our fab sponsor is PPinkyDolls Art & do I hope you can join us.

Christmas in July ... again


The Sentimental Sundays challenge has had a little break but is back today with a new challenge which is "Christmas in July" (+ a greeting), luckily the weather here has been far from wintery in fact it actually feels like summer!  My card is CAS mainly cos still not had much time for crafting & also cos I saw a similar card on Pintrest & thought it looked cool.  I punched circles of scrap Christmas paper & edged with gold ink, I used a tag punch for the tops of the baubles & finished with ribbons, peel offs & a stamped greeting. End of an Era!


Yes today is the last Jellypark Friends challenge & I am proud to say I've been part of Claire's DT from the very beginning, which was July 2011 - yes 3 years! I have no idea where the time has gone but I've loved every minute :o)  For our last challenge the theme is "Christmas in July" & I used the Christmas Robins digi stamp which I coloured with ProMarkers.  The papers are from my (very large) stash of Christmas papers & I finished the card with some Kraft card, tags, brad, wooden snowflake & gems.  I really hope you can join us for this last challenge & I look forward to seeing your creations (it's never too early to get a head start on your Christmas crafting).

More Christmas...


Another last minute Christmas card (I'm still not finished lol), luckily this week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Non-traditional Christmas Colours" (with a sentiment) & we are sponsored by Simply Betty Stamps & lucky enough to choose one of their fab images.  I chose "Rio & Frosty" & coloured it with chalk (& a bit of Prismacolor pencil too) for a change & edged the image with Glamour Dust.  I adore these papers "Twenty Five Days of Joy" which are digital & from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  I finished the card with a punched snowflake, tag sentiment, ribbon & gems.

Christmas Month Reminder :o)


Wow! This is such a busy time for me (it is so annoying that I have to go to work lol) & it is a struggle to fit everything in.  But I did manage to make another couple of cards for the Jellypark Friends Christmas month long challenge.  The first image I coloured with ProMarkers, I used scraps of paper & punched a big flower, scrunched it up, covered it with Glamour Dust & added a button with twine.  I finished the card with a sentiment, pearl & some sequins (ooh & added a  If you've got any Christmas cards still to make (I have!) - or if you're starting for next year ;o) I hope you will join us.

My 2nd card uses "Penguin Christmas Tag" digital stamp which is also coloured with ProMarkers, I used glitter for the snow, a pompom for his hat & a brad & star.  The chipboard Christmas tree was inked & gems added.  The papers are MME & I finished the card with ribbon, twine & charm.

Month Long Christmas Challenge!


I've had this week off work & have been doing some Christmas shopping (not doing too bad, still left with the same awkward people lol) & today we are going to a Christmas market :o)  Looking forward to putting the tree & decorations up at the weekend - I love Christmas!  Jellypark Friends month long challenge is (as the title suggests) "Christmas!".  For my cards I used "Snowman" & "Girl with Stocking" digital stamps which I coloured with ProMarkers.  I used various papers from my stash & the snowflake border is a Memory Box die.  There are 2 new fabulous gingerbread man/lady digital stamps available too.  I hope you'll check out the other DT members fab creations for lots of inspiration.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland



This week the challenge at Sentimental Sundays is "Winter Wonderland" (+ a sentiment) & we are sponsored by Meljens & so for my easel card I used this cute image called "Bitty Christmas Tree Bears".  I paper pieced the tree & coloured the image with ProMarkers.  The papers & shaker sentiment I've had ages, I used Flower Soft polar white for the snow & edged the image with Glamour Dust finishing off with die cut poinsettia, punched holly, gems & pompom trim.  I hope you can join us :o) (& we're still looking for new DT members if you're interested).

Warm Winter Wishes :o)


This week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Warm & Cosy" (with a sentiment) & for my card I used Jellypark's "Snowball Girl" digi stamp & coloured her with ProMarkers & added Glamour Dust & a pompom snowball.  The papers are digi & I doodled a frame to match the image around a printed sentiment.  I finished the card with ribbon, brad, metal holly & the heart mug is a stamp.  We are sponsored by Mayzy Arts & there is the chance to win 5 of their wonderful images :o)  I hope you can join us!
