All Dressed Up Birthday Blog Hop! (Win, Win, Win) & a Freebie!

At All Dressed Up we are having a Blog Hop to celebrate our 2nd Birthday :o) & there is a wonderful freebie for you all, how cool is that!  There are also 4 gorgeous new Christmas digital images released to day & the lucky DT got to choose which image we wanted to use - not an easy choice cos they are all wonderful but I went with "Christmas Star",  I added lots of sparkle in the shape of glitter card for border, stars & wings & Glamour Dust on large star (well if you can't go ott on sparkle at Christmas when can you lol).  The image was coloured with ProMarkers & I finished off with some ribbon.

This is my card

For my card I used a Pink Petticoat image coloured with ProMarkers with added pearls.  The papers are "The London Line" from Dovecraft (I love these they are so pretty & sparkly).  I finished with a cupcake border, doily & die cut banners.

Birthday Blog Hop at The Paper Shelter!

For my card I did a bit of decoupage using "There's a Penguin in my Cocoa" digital image & as the challenge theme for the Blog Hop is "Two of a Kind" because it is our 2nd Birthday (which I almost forgot) I used 2 brackets (there is also 2 presents too).  I finished the card with Glamour Dust, greeting & pompom.

Sorry I haven't been around much but I haven't had a lot of free time & the little I have had has been getting ready for the few craft fayres I've been doing lately (luckily the last one is Friday night so hopefully things can get a bit back to normal (& maybe I can get sorted for Christmas, I've still got quite a few pressies to get & I haven't even thought about writing cards :S).  I was going to put the tree up last Sunday but it's going to have to wait until this weekend (I love Christmas & can't wait to get trimmed up!)

Jellypark Charity Blog Hop!

For my card I used "Cute Little Girl Holding Some Thank You Bunting" which I coloured with chalks for a softer look.  I used strips of paper (again) as I like the patchwork feel this gives & finished the card off with stamped bunting, die cut felt flower & some flower buttons.

For my card I used the backing paper & image from a kit called Patisserie from The Paper Shelter & I 3d some of the images.  I did some machine stitching & added a border with my Martha Stewart cupcake border punch.  I finished the card off with some bunting, stamped flower, ribbon, brad & Glamour Dust.  Anyone who knows me will know I am very partial to cakes of all description so this card is perfect for me lol :D

Happy Birthday Gerda & a Surprise Blog Hop!

I am so lucky to be part of the StampFairy DT & able to use lots of Gerda's fabulous images.  As today is Gerda's birthday Jackie our DT leader has organised a *Surprise* blog hop to celebrate.  So "Happy Birthday Gerda, have a fabulous day & I hope you like our virtual birthday party!".  My image is "Lenny Cupcakes" as I (amongst many are providing the cake & you can never have too much cake!).  I did lots of paper piecing & it took ages (but you're worth it Gerda hun), used my cupcake border punch & finished off with a flower, gems, charm & greeting.

Sentimental Sundays "Celebrate Summer" Blog Hop!

Hello, I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend & welcome the the Sentimental Sundays "Celebrate Summer" Blog Hop.  Tuesday 21st June is the official 1st day of summer in the northern hemisphere and we are ready for all the summer fun to begin :o).  For our friends down under who are moving into winter & may not feel like creating a summery project they are welcome to create something sparkly or shimmery. My card is made using an image from StampFairy called "Patsy Beachtime" which I coloured with ProMarkers (& a bit of Prismcolor pencils).  I did some machine stitching round the edge of the papers, added lots of flowers, 2 ribbons, a punched border & 2 tickets (there was a cute wooden butterfly on the fence which balanced the card nicely but I didn't notice it had fallen off when I took the photo lol).

Wow that is a long title but I will explain:

1st Happy Easter! I hope you're all enjoying yourselves.

2nd we have 2 Paper Pretties girls with birthdays & there is a Blog Hop to celebrate.  If you have joined in the Hop you should have come from Nancy's fab blog.  I'm sorry that I haven't had time to make anything for the Hop but as I said in my previous post we have the grandchildren staying so I've barely got time to write this lol (though I will have a little something made tomorrow with one of the new digi releases) & next in line is Janet - then it is the 2 birthday girls: Dominique & Cindy (Happy Birthday Girls!).  If you want to start the Hop from the beginning you need to go HERE.

How excited am I, this is the first time I've been part of a blog hop so I'm hoping I get all the details right lol.  Over at StampFairy the challenge is "Celebrate with a Color Explosion" & along with the normal prizes for the weekly challenge there will be extra prizes hidden on some of the design team's blogs :)  The winners will be chosen via comments left on all of the design team's blogs & you must be a follower of the StampFairy Challenge blog & join in with the current challenge.  Sounds like fun right, so I hope you will join in :)

My card was made using StampFairy's Fairies image (how very apt lol) & I coloured her with ProMarkers, paper pieced her dress & added some glitter & gems.  The papers, flowers & brads were from my stash & I finished off with some ribbon & a free ticket sentiment (I will try & find the link later for you).
