My VERY Favourite Pocket Letters :o)

We all like happy mail & those who read my blog will know that I have recently got into making Pocket Letters (which are a sort of cross between ATC's & scrapbooking...with little goodies included) & you can imagine how excited when I received 3 envelopes in the post addressed to Nanny Tracey.  My 3 adorable grandchildren had all made me a Pocket Letter.  You can see that we are a crafty family & all love art & craft & are always creating something :o)

Happy Birthday Bethany!

It was my youngest granddaughter Bethany's 1st birthday on Monday & I made this card for her (it was a bit of a rush job unfortunately & I'm not very pleased with it but at least with her being only 1 I'm sure she won't mind ;) ).  I used The Paper Shelter's cute image called "Happy Birthday to Me!" (thank goodness for the option of pre-coloured images). The papers were from my stash & I finished off with Glamour Dust, die cut heart & No.1, ribbon, gems, sentiment & charm.  This week's challenge at The Paper Shelter is "Going Round & Round", they would like to see circles &/or spots & dots.  We have as usual our gift voucher up worth $20 up for grabs if you play with a Paper Shelter image.  I hope you're all having a great week :D We're on holiday this week so are having some days out & about but today is a day of tidying/sorting/cleaning lol Hopefully we can pop out for a bite to eat later (I don't want to be cooking too!)

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend :) I've been catching up with crafting & today we went to the In-Laws for dinner so that was nice (no cooking/washing up).

I used Pink Petticoat paper, the image was from Birdie Brown on Etsy & coloured with ProMarkers.  I finished the card off with die cut hearts, pearls, gems & ribbon.

Cute Baby Alert!

No crafty creations to show today but I thought I would share a couple of photos of my new granddaughter Bethany who was born on 6th August.  She is such a little darling & I can't wait until she (& the rest of the family) come to visit at half term (my son lives in Kent so we don't get to see them much as we would like - thank goodness for Skype & the webcam!).

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.  We went to see Footloose at the cinema yesterday (we only went cos we had free tickets) & it was absolutely fab! I loved it from beginning to end.  We're off out to lunch with the in-laws a bit later so that's no cooking again for me today - excellent :D
