Ah, Tag Friday - we love it!  Autumn leaves are beautiful, but between the glorious colours of an autumnal forest, danger may lurk. Beware of vengeful women with too much knowledge of the toxic fungi they've been gathering in the woods!  Come over to Words and Pictures if you dare, to learn more about these Fungi Poisoners.

This Friday is the perfect day to create a pair of Halloween tags! I love so much the new Tim Holtz Stamps and Stencils and I used them together with Ranger Ink Perfect Pearls to obtain a shiny effect! If you want to read how I made the tags check out my blog Yaya scrap & more.

Today I'm celebrating autumn and Halloween with a double-sided tag featuring Arthur Thinlits from Tim Holtz, as you can see my ghostly owl is having fun playing Peek-a-Boo! To see how this came together, please find full details on my blog, Let's Art Journal.

Creating tags is always so much fun, so I could not resist playing along this month. If you want to see how this tag came together, just head over to my blog

 Julia

I skipped right over the USA Halloween and Thanksgiving seasons and went with a winter design for my tag, creating a Dox Spray Ink smooshed background for my winter trees and little ice skater!   You'll find more details on my blog post here.

An Unfortunate Ending Halloween Tag - Deb Riddell Designs

I finally found my Halloween mojo which has been sadly lacking this year just in time for Tag Friday.  Pop on over to my blog for the spooky how to!

It is indeed a time for Joy, the weather is cooler and the pumpkins are coming out.  For my tag today I am celebrating Fall in all it's glory.  For more information and to see the products I used - please join me at my blog here.

My tag for 'Tag Friday', pays homage to the Mexican tradition 'The Day of The Dead', which occurs on the 2nd of November. The festival celebrates both life and death and Sugar Skulls play an important role in the celebrations. If you'd like to see how I put this tag together, please hop over to The Artistic Craft Dabbler blog with this link

It has been a little grey here in the North, so I have cheered up the craft room with a colourful tag using the new (wonderfully warm) Crackling Campfire Distress Ink. Do join me over on my blog Live the Dream if you would like to see more.

For July's Tag Friday I decided to make a tag with a set of stamps that I like very much "Flower Shop". You'll find all the details on my blog post here.

Hi everyone! Spending more time in my garden means that my art is being inspired by some of the beautiful flowers blooming at the moment, so today's double-sided tag features purple poppies and rudbeckia. To see how they were created and a full list of materials used, please pop over to my blog Let's Art Journal.

My tag this time is part of a larger project and will be part of a journal I am working on.
If you want to see more, please visit me on my blog

I just had to get out my new Gertrude die for my tag today.  Her long neck and legs fit perfectly!  You'll find more details on how I put my tag and Gertrude together on my blog post here!

It's so nice to be able to join in with Tag Friday. As you can see I have created a shabby chic tag using heat embossing, layers of lace and a cluster of images from my stash. To view a close up/view tag details, available on my blog, click HERE

Hi everyone! happy to be here for our Tag Friday! This month I have a new obsession: Alcohol Inks, so I'm sharing with you another project I created using them! If you want to read how I made my tags and see the details check out my Blog Yaya Scrap & More.

It is always fun to use tags to try new techniques and I have been experimenting with Embossing Glaze to create the background for this tag. Do join me over at Live the Dream for all the details.

Ah - Tag Friday... happy playtime!  I've been playing with Speckled Egg Distress (easily now in my top 3 colours of all time!) and some simple collaging over a crackled background, with a quote stamped on acetate in a very now-you-see-it, now-you-don't way.  Come and see more details over at Words and Pictures.

May Tag Friday

Hello and welcome to one of our favourite posts of the month. We all love a Tag Friday - a chance to create with no boundaries and the perfect opportunity to have fun experimenting and playing with new ideas or techniques.

I am sure you will love the line up today and find something that inspires you.

I love Tag Friday.  No rules other than to use a tag and follow your heart.  In this case, my heart was ahead of the game.  I created this background a whole week before the new Distress colour was revealed - I guess I was tuning in to something in the air!  Do come and visit Words and Pictures to see more.

I have been experimenting with fabric and tissue paper and love the final result. If you would like to find out more about this technique and how the tag came together, then do please join me over on my blog.

A Strange And Wonderful Place Tag - Deb Riddell

For May's Tag Friday I started with a gel plate printed tag that took me on somewhat of an unexpected journey!  Pop on over to my blog for a quick tutorial, hope to see you there!

I am going through a bright phase! My tag was inspired by a recent online workshop I did with Dina Wakley and uses PaperArtsy stamps. Do pop over to Addicted to Art for more details.

For May's Tag Friday I decided to make a tag with the Infusion Color Stains from PaperArtsy and new and old stuff by Tim Holtz! You'll find all the details on my blog post here.

My tag for this month is a quick and simple one that will be part of a larger project in the future. As usual, there are a few more photos on my blog.

This month I'm really obsessed with Speckled Egg, the new Distress Color!! I love it so much so I used it for my tag! I created a super classic tag mixing old e new supplies! Check out my Blog, Yayascrap & more for the whole tutorial!

I decided to revisit some of the techniques within Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities

January Tag Friday

I decided to create a crackle effect background for my tag today using Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and Paper Artsy Crackle Glaze. For more photos and details it would be lovely to see you at Ann Chuang Crafts.

I decided to make a tag that would fit inside a pocket that I can stick in one of my journals.
Both are made from old book pages and if you would like to see how it cam together, just visit my blog

I'm on a run of tags playing with the idea of nature taking over the decaying remnants of human culture...  Yes, I know - it's been a laugh-a-minute lately round my way!  This tag continues to celebrate greenery and wildflowers flourishing amidst the ruins left by mankind.  Do come and visit Words and Pictures if you'd like to see more.  I'm promise it's not as depressing as it sounds!

My tag is a very special one this time.  Next month my wonderful parents will be celebrating their 75th (yes, I said 75th!) wedding anniversary and I wanted to make my tag in their honor.  Love is the key.

For January's Tag Friday I decided to make a tag accordion booklet with some gel plate printed tags that I had in my stash.  Come on over to my blog for all the details and more pictures of the individual tags.

Every year in the month of January, I'm so thrilled to see and try new releases by all craft companies! To create this tag I enjoyed to mix new and old stuff by Tim Holtz! To see the close-ups details and read the materials I used for my tag, check out my Blog Yayascrap & more!

Hi everyone! Here's another double-sided tag for my Tag Journal, one side features snowdrops as this January I've been surpised by them flowering so early and the other side is a Valentine heart design as it's nearly February. I created it using Tim Holtz products including a Pocket Card, some stickers, Distress Inks and three Thinlet sets; please find full details on my blog Let's Art Journal

I'm in Valentine Mode already so used that theme for my January tag.  I used new and old dies, embossing folder and stamps but it's all from Tim Holtz/Sizzix/Idea-ology accept for the clay hearts, lace and ribbon.  You'll find all the details on my blog post here.

Having just returned from Creativation 2020 I decided to create with some of the samples I returned with and had great fun with vintage papers and embossing powders. Do join me over on my blog for more details.

November Tag Friday

Hello and welcome to another Tag Friday here at AVJ. We just LoVE these fifth Friday's in the month where we get to create without a theme ..... time to play, experiment and have fun.

And what a lineup we have for you today!

I am very happy to participate in the last Tag Friday of this year! For this occasion, my tags could only be dedicated to Christmas time! I know they are unusual with a black background, but Tim Holtz's stamps mixed with gold and platinum inks make them truly festive! If you want to see my creative process, you can find it on my Yaya Scrap & more Blog.

Alison

I've barely been in the craft room lately, but I can't bear to miss a Tag Friday, so this was a good shove in the direction of the craft table.  I started with a mop up tag and went on from there, grabbing scraps and bits and bobs which were lying around.  Do come and visit Words and Pictures to see all the close-up details.

My tag this month is part of a wider project that is a gift to a crafty friend. If you would like to see more detail of the tag and the full project, you are welcome to visit my blog

Hi Everyone x It's so nice to be able to share my Jumbo Tag with you today.  Christmas will be upon us soon and I am only just getting my Christmas cards started....Eek !!! For  the tag process details please visit my blog by clicking HERE

Jo

This Merry Moose is one of my favourite Thinlets from Tim Holtz so I couldn't resist using it to create this double-sided Mixed Media tag showing the same scene in Autumn and in Winter. To see how it all came together please find full details over at my blog Let's Art Journal.

Having missed a couple of our Tag Friday's this year I'm happy to be contributing to this one, especially as its our final Tag Friday of 2019. I'm sharing a  mixed media long tag called 'Peace' over at 'ink-a-pink' and you are very welcome to pop by to see and read more....

I'm happy to be contributing to the last Tag Friday of the year! Please visit sarascloset for more details!

I recently had a bit of a clear out of my "bits box" and I found these two tags which had been created a long time ago using the Wrinkle Free Distress Technique but which I thought would work together as a Christmas tag. Do join me over on my blog if you would like to see more.

August Tag Friday

Welcome everyone to another of our fabulous Tag Friday posts. Yes it’s that time again to see what the amazing Creative Guides have been playing with to create their tag projects - no themes, no constraints just sheer unadulterated creative time to express themselves in any way they want but keeping to the genres we love to play with.

Here we go.

I decided to get my paints out and create a Seth Apter inspired background for my tag today using Paper Artsy Fresco Acrylics. For more photos and details it would be lovely to see you at Addicted to Art.

Oh, I do love a Tag Friday.  I usually take the chance to do some fairly simple inking and stamping, going back to that joy I found right at the start of my crafting journey, and that's exactly what's going on with this last-days-of-summer tag.  Do come over to Words and Pictures to see how these clear-embossed images shimmer in and out of sight - it's almost as though those migrating birds are here, and then they're gone...

I decided to go Shabby Chic this month and used some tea dyed bits and pieces to tie in with Jennie's fabulous theme this month. If you are interested there is a little tutorial and step out photos on
my blog

I couldn't wait to try some of my newest Tim Holtz Halloween products, and Tag Friday was just the push I needed to get started. I have a simple step by step tutorial at sarascloset if you would like to hop over.

My colorful tag depicts the changing of the seasons.  A lovely bucket of flowers says warm sunny days but Autumn is not far behind with its rich shades of orange and brown.

Hi Everyone! I had lots of fun creating a Mixed Media tag for my tag journal. This time I was inspired by the butterflies that have been visiting our garden recently, so I captured both a Painted Lady and a Peacock butterfly on this double-sided tag. To see how I created it please find full details on my blog over at Let's Art Journal.

My inspiration comes from crazy Dali. I finished the background with Distress Oxide Sprays. Do pop over to my blog, there are more details.

Having had much fun with my Gelli Plate this last month I decided to make a simple tag from a piece left over from another project and added a little over stamping and this lovely quote. Do join me over on my blog if you would like to see more details.

I spent a lovely few days in Northumberland last week. It's the first time I've ever been there and I must say how much I loved it. This tag holds a photo of the beautiful view, across the bay to Holy Island, as seen from our campervan. I hope the memory of it will keep me going through the impending winter months! Hop over to my blog if you'd like to see how it came together.

Its lovely to be sharing a tag as its something I have not created for some time. I created the background using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays, some lace and a dress form by LaBlanche, which I adore. For details pop over to my blog HERE

We are at the end of August and I'm already in the Halloween mood! I made a tag with the most classic colors of this celebration using many Tim Holtz products! The Crackle 3D folder is unbelievable! I used it from the opposite side where the effect it creates is totally different, very similar to the bubbles, it seemed me perfect to match the witches' cauldron! Check out my Blog Yayascrap & more to see every detail!

Amanda
For our Tag Friday I decided it was time I used some of my 'stash' that I have had for a long time and haven't as yet used!  From a pile of 'plenty' (plenty more than I like to admit to) I picked out a couple and teamed them up with some of my well used products to create a tag with a powerful image that both emotes and evokes.
You are very welcome to pop by my blog to see and read more.

Wow what an incredible line-up again this time around, there are so many beautiful designs, colour combinations and styles, I am sure there is something for everyone to look at. Thank you Team for all your hard work but I know you enjoy doing these Tag Friday projects and we can see you have had great fun creating them.

Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend and we look forward to seeing you back again next week for the start of a new challenge month with the lovely Julia hosting.
See you soon.
