I had completely forgot about this collection coming out, lots of family stuff happening, holidays, and other things were first priority I suppose. Anyway over the weekend I went on a search to find one specific palette from this collection.

Sparkle Til Morning was my target, I had to have it because of all the buzz going on about it. I ended up stopping at 3 Walgreen's in my area to no avail, needless to say I went home defeated. I decided to check out ebay (I rarely buy stuff on there that has to do with makeup, too many chances of fakes), I ended up seeing Sparkle Til Morning selling anywhere from $11 starting bid to a buy it now for $58! Nope I wasn't going to go that high, no chance of that like ever.

Anyway I ended up doing a call around to some stores that were a little farther out of the way, 4 stores later I had a winner. I squealed when I heard the words "Yes I have 2 of those left.", I composed myself again and calmly replied asking if she could hold both for me as I was driving 45 minutes away. She was quite nice and told me she'd be happy to hold them till the next day when I'd have a chance to grab them before work!

Of course being the impatient makeup addict that I am I hopped in my car and drove 45 minutes away to a small... very small town. I got there and walked to the cosmetics area to find that there, on the display sat two Sparkle Til Morning palettes and thought to myself (could there really be 4 total left and she didn't notice it? Or maybe she never bothered to hold them for me).

Anyway I grabbed those two and walked to the front register and asked if I could get help in cosmetics because they were holding something for me. I waited patiently till the lady came over, I advised her I had asked someone to hold something for me. She then pulled out a piece of paper with two eyeshadow palettes under them, these however were those cheap holiday palettes that you find in your present or stocking from a kind Aunt who didn't know the difference between good quality drugstore products and chalk bless her heart.

Needless to say I was disappointed that I had specified the words Wet N Wild and Sparkle Til Morning and instead found chalk on hold for me. I politely said nevermind, those ones are the wrong thing and let her know she could put them back.

I was still excited to get the 2 that I had and I ended up picking up the Shimmer The Night Away as well, I didn't bother picking up Drinking a Glass of Shine as it was the same thing as the I Matte's from a prior release.

Anyway onto the photos!

I will have a review up and swatches later on this week!

Do you own anything from this collection? What's your favorite?

Wet n Wild has been quickly taking over it's very own makeup drawer(s) in my collection, I own every single eye shadow palette from the permanent line as well as some Limited Edition ones. I've also started dabbling into their lip products as well. Just recently I got to try out the Mega Last Lip Colors.

What the Site says

MEGA LAST® LIP COLOR

Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

Price:  $1.99 for 0.11 oz.

Pros:  These are definitely pigmented, they easily glide on with no issues of dragging over my lips, the texture is very nice and the finish is semi matte. They wear well and don't fade fast which is a plus for me considering I tend to bite my lips. The colors are gorgeous and I will definitely be wearing all of them again. There is no scent to these or taste which is also a plus if you dislike smells or funny tastes which most cheaper brands can have but these do not which is awesome. For the price the quality is amazing and even with the fact that my lip are terribly dry in the winter time these still looked amazing on even with no balm before hand!

Cons:
I didn't find any cons, everything about these are amazing.

Recently I got the chance to try out the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color, I'd seen them in the store but not picked them up because I had instead bought the Mega Shield Lip Colors instead. I love the ones of those that I had so I was excited to try out these as well.

Recently when I stopped by my local super market I came across some new Wet n Wild Color Icon Singles. I only grabbed 5 of them but I believe they had a few more then that to choose from, I know they had a pink one as well as a white one.

The ones I bought were not in any special packaging although I know some places have these singles packaged with an eyeliner pencil. The ones I purchased cost me $1.89 each at my local Meijer's, I'm not sure how much they are selling other places however.

Comparison with Flash, No Base, Swatched with my finger

Price:  $1.89 at my local Meijer's, I believe the price is the same most place or close.

Pros:  I LOVE these single shadows, the pigmentation is amazing, the shades are gorgeous, the price is fantastic, and Panther is one of the darkest black shadows I have ever come across! If you see these at your local store definitely grab them (especially Panther and Stagedive!!).

Cons: Honestly I don't see any cons to these shadows, the price is right, the pigmentation is right, the only thing that someone might not like is the normal powdery texture of some. I did not however really notice any to be powdery in the ones I grabbed.

Would I purchase again?:
Absolutely!! These shadows are great for the price, the pigmentation is there, the quality is there and I cannot stress how dark Panther is!! I mean look at them with no base and one swipe!

This is just a post of recent stuff I've gotten or had luck enough to get.

To start off I just got a package from a Giveaway I won, I think it's funny because a couple days before I found out I won the Giveaway I was about to purchase the Urban Decay Naked Palette but decided to hold off due to funds.

I'll have a post on each of these palettes along with an First Look post stating where I won it (seriously love the site because of all the great posts for reviews, products, ect!).

When the Husband and I went grocery shopping on Monday he let me run a muck in the beauty section and I walked past this other display they had with a TON of stuff. I was in a hurry so I think I missed a few things. I ended up grabbing 5 of the new eyeshadows though, I'll be sure to post swatches and reviews shortly.

Somethings that weren't from this store but from Walgreen's on a display sort of like this that I picked up as well.

Also not from this display from that particular store but this is what the display looks like, I actually got two from my local Walgreen's for Buy One get One Half Off Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes.

And again from Walgreen's for Buy One get One Half Off, Maybelline Color Tattoo 24-Hour Eyeshadows.

And last but not least I went back to my local Sephora to see if they had anymore of the Kat Von D Metal Orchestra palettes but when that was a bust I impulse bought the Benefit Hervana Blush.

I also have some Evil Shades Cosmetics stuff to finish swatching and reviewing, Geek Chic Cosmetics, Morgana Cryptoria Haul, as well as other things like Glamour Doll Eyes Holiday sets (Halloween, Christmas, and Valentines), plus more!
