I picked up 3 of the OPI Muppets nail polishes, I wanted to get more but when I went back to the store they were sold out. I'm pretty sure that is because they make wonderful stocking stuffers, or just presents in general! I bought each for $8.49 at my local super grocery store, when I looked at Ulta they were selling them for $12.50. The only difference I could notice was a little white striping on the bottles, I thought maybe it was just an issue with that batch but I noticed some other polishes also had the same issue (I'm guessing that store is where all the "mutant" bottles go and maybe that's the drop in price?).

Tonight on the way home the husband and I stopped off at our local super grocery store to pick out a Christmas tree. I knew what I wanted, a white tree with white lights and a bunch of multi-colored decorations. We got lucky and they had one white tree left for half off, so instead of paying $150 we got it for $75 = win.
I decided to check and see if they restocked the OPI Muppets nail polishes as it was the same store that had the mutant bottles with the white stripe on them. They did restock but not with the same thing, this time they had a different display with different Muppet polishes. The funny thing is these bottles also had a white mark running through them. I decided to just accept it and grabbed 3 of them because honestly my Ulta had them for $12.50 and I didn't want to pay that when I could get them for $8.49.
I picked up Meep-Meep-Meep, Pepe's Purple Passion, and Warm and Fozzie. I'd like to go back and get them all because they are really pretty but I'm not sure how many will be left and if I will have the funds after the holidays.

A few days back I got a $15 gift card e-mail for being a Sephora Beauty Insider member. I actually had not ordered anything from Sephora since December of 2010! So I figured what the heck I'll at least use the $15 card I got for something.
I decided to get a Kat Von D palette since I'd been seeing people swatch them, the one I got was the True Romance Metal Palette because it was $24 and I couldn't think of anything else at the time that I wanted. With it I also used a coupon code to get a free express bag with 6 samples in it, I had to spend $25 to use this so I added on a $3 Sephora sharpener.

In other news when I went to my local grocery store browsing makeup while the husband picked out some new clothes I came across the New O-P-I Muppets nail polish collection. The husband told me after I met up with him that it was ok if I bought two, unfortunately the bottles all had this weird white slash on the bottles where it almost looked like they melted or something. For that price I wasn't about to buy a mutant bottle... the only mutant thing I love is X-Men!
And for complete randomness this is my boat that I ate for lunch one day! Random Crow is Random!
