Gift Packaging

Hi there!

Today is challenge day at 613 Avenue Create and our optional twist is about Gift Packaging. This week I am showcasing a stamp from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. They are too cute and there is such a big variety of them. This time I decided to decorate a bag to put a present for my grandma, because she loves Sunbonet dolls.

In this bag I used a recycled paper bag, 

wrapping paper stitched on white paper to cover the shop brand, 

a doily and some rafia.

Then I coloured the digital stamp with my Copic markers and I made a tag 

with some embossed card, washi tape, sequins, a tag sentiment and a bell.

Copic markes used:

E000, E00, E011, E21, R22, R24, R27, R29, R59,

G21, G94, G99, C1, C3, B00, Y02, Y06, Y08.

Poinsettia flower cut and shaped by hand using a file from Fred She Said as a template.

First Day of School

Hi there!

My little baby flower is starting nursery school next Monday (oh my... I'm going to miss her so much... :( )... and I've decorated a bag for her, which is going to stay at school, and will be the place to store spare clothes and other utilities for her to use in case of need. Looking at it finished now, I think I would have liked different colours for the stamp, but bearing in mind that she wants everything to be pink or purple, I think she will be happy with this.

My New Handbag

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my new bag :). Some time ago I used to do lots of patchwork. I love the fabrics, you can find them in all colours and patterns. Whenever I cut through one of them, it was very difficult to me to throw away even the tiniest scrap. And now, the time comes to use even the bits that seem more difficult to use: the selvedge or selvage. That is right, that is what I made the body of my bag with.

Avui vull ensenyar-te la meua nova borsa :). Fa temps solia fer molt de patchwork. M'encanten les teles, les pots trobar amb tots els colors i estampats. Cada vegada que tallava alguna d'aquelles peces me guardava fins i tot els més xicotets retalls. I ara, ha arribat el moment d'utilitzar fins i tot els trossos que semblaven més difícils d'usar: les vores vives. si, es correcte, això es amb el que esta fet el cos d'aquesta borsa.
