Johnny G's, Winnipeg, MB

I asked the concierge in my hotel where I should have lunch. He recommended Johnny G's and I walked to it.

It's a fairly big restaurant ... it has a pub section (where I sat) and a dining room in front. It's not a fancy place but I found it comfortable.

It has a music theme on the walls.

I ordered the Rockabilly Burger and fries ... mozzarrella cheese, bacon, tomatoes, pickles and burger sauce. There was a massive pile of shoestring fries. They were good but could have been hotter. I just had a few of them. I focused on the burger which was really good and hearty.

Yum!

An excellent meal at about $10.50!
