Apple of My Eye Mini Card Set with The Twinery

Hello, hello, hello.....is there anyone out there??  Well, I wouldn't blame you if there was no one out there.  Postings have been rather sparse lately.  I have been busy with lots going on including getting the new school year started, kids activities, and some fun news I will announce later this week.  I did have time to break away and get this super fun little card set created to share with you.

I used some yummy Peapod bakers twine from The Twinery on this card along with the first stamp set I bought from the Unity Stamp Company called Hodge Podge of Happiness.   I stamped, colored, and cut out the apple images, stamped the sentiment directly on the card and then adhered the apple with foam adhesive.  I wrapped a few layers of twine around the bottom of the card.  Here is a closer look......

The cards measure 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.  The perfect size to slip into a lunch box or bag before my kids or hubby leave for work or an outing to let them know that I am thinking about them and that I love them.

If you enjoy my project today, please leave a comment below letting me know and then hop on over the The Twinery blog and let them know how much you love the look of their twine on projects.

Have a great day!!

Amy

Home Sweet Home

Hello friends!!  I know it has been a while since you have seen a post from me.....I am so very sorry for that.  I do have a card to share with you today that uses the super cute Home Sweet Home stamp set from Jane's Doodles.

I colored in the images with my Copic markers and then cut them out.  I mounted them onto this fun textured background that I created with a chevron embossing folder and then added a little bit of ink to the edges.  I added some die cut grass pieces and then tied it up with some yummy Marigold bakers twine from The Twinery.  I mounted it all onto a white cardstock base and added the sentiment and a little line of pink sticker dots from the Valentine Sticker Stitches.  Take a closer look.....

I think that this will be a perfect card to give to someone who just moved into a new home, don't you??  This card was posted over on the SRM Stickers blog last week.  I would love it if you would hop on over HERE and give me a little comment love there and here.  Thanks so much!!

I do want to thank you for visiting my blog and for sticking with me over the last several months as I have battled with some health issues.....which probably led to me losing a bit of my crafting mojo as well.  I can say that I have got back into my crafting room to start creating again and it feel so good.  I do have a couple of new projects going up on the blog this next week.....so don't miss them!!

Have a Purr-fect Day!

Hello friends!!  I have this fun card that was posted over on the SRM Stickers blog a little while ago, but with my move, I didn't have a chance to put it up here.  I am working on some fun projects that will get to share with you in the future and also a peek into my new scrapbook room coming up.....you don't want to miss it!

First here is this super cute kitty card that I created with A Cat's Life from Jane's Doodles.

I colored in the image with Copic markers and also added a bit of tone on tone stamping at the bottom of the card with the heart image from the stamp set.  I added the patterned paper and then put some Sticker Stitches across it (so much easier than pulling out the sewing machine).  Take a closer look at my card....

To finish off the card, I added some ribbon and a button.  I think that this super cute card would brighten any cat lover's day....don't you think?

Have a great weekend!!

Birthday Wishes

Hello crafting friends!!  How are you all??  I feel like I have been a bit disconnected from the crafting world, but since things have slowed down for me, I hope to be crafting more soon.  Today I have this pretty little Birthday Wishes card.  I used some fabulous Taylored Expressions stamps, dies, paper, and embossing folder for this.

I gave this card to my lovely sister for her birthday last week.  I just love how pretty it is.  I used my Copic marker to color in the stamped banner image.  To finish off my card, I added some ribbon and stitching with my sewing machine.  Take a closer look.....

I have been learning how to shoot pictures completely in manual mode, so I hope that my photography will improve.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

May Love Lift You Up.....

Hello friends!!  Spring is really here and we have been super busy with family activities for Easter and outings.  Today I have a fun card to share with you using the Carried Away stamp and die set from Taylored Expressions.  I just love this fun set....perfect for weddings and anniversaries.

I colored the house with my Copic markers to look like the house in one of my family's favorite movies called "Up".  Such a sweet story!  First, I cut out one of the Label Stacklets 7 and then stamped the house on it.  I colored it in and then put a post it with the same image stamped onto it so that I could create the cloud background with the die cut image I cut with the Rolling Clouds die.  I added the die cut balloons and mounted it all onto a Sugar Cube cardstock base that had the sentiment and grass border added to it.  Here is a closer look....

Such a fun card!!  I think it would be fun for an Up themed party, too. So, what do you think??  I had so much fun making this card to be like the Up house....that movie makes me cry every time!

I hope you are having a great weekend!!

Amy

A Happy Day

Hello friends!!  Things have been quite slow on my blog.  Sorry about that.  Some of my design team terms have come to an end and I have been so busy in my everyday life, I haven't had a whole lot of time to create.  I have been working on new projects for the upcoming March release with Taylored Expressions, though and I get to start sharing those with you later this week, but first I have this card to share with you that I created with the February release.....

I created this card with the new Walking on Sunshine embossing folder.  I embossed the Potato Chip (yellow) cardstock and then added some hand stitching along the 'rays'.  I added a circle with a sentiment stamped from the new Tag-a-long Easter stamp set and colored in the Happy with my Copic markers.  Here is a closer look at the embossing.....

To finish off the card, I tied a big pink bow up at the top.  I hope that you are going to have some Happy Days this week.  Don't forget to come back and check out what I have created with the new March release from Taylored Expressions.

Hugs,
Amy

Easter Tags with Taylored Expressions

Spring is just around the corner and it is time to start thinking about those spring projects.  I have this sweet set of Easter tags that I created with the new February release with Taylored Expressions using the new Tag-a-long Easter stamp set and the Tag-a-long Easter coordinating die set.

The tags are cut out with the new Build A Tag 3 dies.  I colored in the stamped and die cut images with my Copic markers.  There is a strip of grass at the bottom of each tag that I cut using the Grass Border Die.  I added a strip of paper from the new For Peeps Sake 6x6 patterned paper pack.  Take a closer look at each of the tags.....

I finished off each of the tags with some sequins and then tied some bakers twine from The Twinery to the tops of each of them.

I hope that you are inspired to get some fun spring themed projects done, too.  I don't know what it is about the warmer weather, but I seem to be inspired more than when I am in colder weather.  How about you??

Have a blessed day!!

Hugs,
Amy

February Release Day with Taylored Expressions

Hello friends!!  Today is the awesome day that I get to share with you a project that I have created with the new release from Taylored Expressions.  I just love the fun Easter themes and projects that have been created with these new sets.  Take a peek at my card today....

I got to use the new Wishes on a Wire - Easter stamp and I stamped it on some white cardstock that I cut out with the Postage Stamp Stacklets.  I colored in my image with Copic markers and then added a few white pen details.  Take a closer look at my image.....

I used the new For Peep's Sake patterned paper pack and also the Lot of Dots embossing folder.  To finish off the card, I added a bit of machine stitching, the Open Scallop Border die, some ribbon, and a button.

I hope you will hop on over to the Taylored Expressions blog to see the whole release.  Don't forget to check out what the other designers have created with this fab new release, too.
