New Audiobook Release Review: Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn

Till Summer Do Us PartTill Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my goodness... Till Summer Do Us Part was an absolute hoot from start to finish. Author Meghan Quinn comes up with the most hilarious premises and always delivers heart, heat, and hilarity. I listened to the audiobook and narrators Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon hit this one out of the park. I don't know how they made it through all the hilarious situations without cracking (but let's be honest, this material was so funny I bet they had to do multiple takes!). Wilder being an improv actor was so great- the "yes, and..." setups were plenty and perfect and had me doubled over. This was pure comedy gold and I enjoyed every minute!

New Release: Make-Believe Match by Melanie Harlow

Make-Believe Match by Melanie Harlow is now live!

𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆? 𝗡𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆...

Getting hitched is the only way I can inherit Snowberry Lodge, and I'll do anything to spare my childhood home from the wrecking ball-even wear Devlin Buckley's ring on my finger.

Not that I'll enjoy it.

Sure, he's charming and handsome, and that no-last-names one night stand we shared ended with a fantastically big bang (I saw stars I hadn't seen in six months, if you catch my drift).

But I'll never trust him-he was working for the company trying to bulldoze my life.

Right up until the day he knocked on my door with an offer I couldn't refuse.

Marry him, and he'll help me restore my family's crumbling resort to its former glory-and get revenge on his ex-boss in the process. Once our goals are achieved, we'll go our separate ways.

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄.

𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗜 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀 "𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲."

Once we're sharing a last name-and a bed-our make-believe match starts to feel a little too real.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴... 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁.

My review: 5 stars!

I loved every single minute I spent reading Make-Believe Match! Devlin and Lexi were such a great match and once they joined forces I was IN! Every time Devlin called Lexi "Wife" I swooned so hard. This story was sweet yet spicy and the cover model is absolute perfection. Love love love this book!

New Release Review: Wild Ever After by Rebecca Jenshak

Wild Ever After (Wildcat Hockey #3)Wild Ever After by Rebecca Jenshak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an excellent audiobook! CJ Bloom and Connor Crais were fantastic in this marriage of convenience sports romance. Although this was book 3 in the series and I hadn't read books 1 or 2, I was able to step in and keep up without issues. (I will say that after reading Wild Ever After, I am definitely going to go back and read the first two books- I love this crew!) Declan is just dreamy! He is so sweet and caring and I had a great time watching him fall hard and fast for Jade.

New Release Review: My One Week Husband by Lauren Blakely

 ONE-WEEK-HUSBAND_LAUREN_BLAKELY_5x8_BW_250.jpg

My One Week Husband
by Lauren Blakely
Release Date: February 17, 2021

A week-long trip. A fake marriage. And seven delicious nights with only one bed in the hotel room.

He's my business partner, my good friend, and the man I've craved for years.

But I've resisted the sexy Brit, and I plan to keep up my walls because I've been there, done that, and I know how much it hurts when you let someone into your heart.

Then an opportunity comes along for us to snag the business deal of a lifetime.

The catch?

We need to pretend we're married to pull off this high-stakes deal.

So the clever, charming man with secrets a mile deep becomes my temporary husband, as we travel around Europe. Soon, we fall into bed, tangled together like newlyweds who can't keep their hands off each other.

One week to explore our fantasies, then we return to who we were.

But when I learn the dark secrets he's been keeping, I doubt we can go back.

Because they change everything.

My review: 5 stars!
Every time a Lauren Blakely novel appears on my Kindle, it's all I can do to live life and not have my nose perpetually stuck in the story until I am done. Her writing draws me in so quickly! After giving us a hint of the attraction between colleagues Daniel and Scarlett in One Exquisite Touch (note that it's not necessary to read that book before My One Week Husband), I was so excited to see how the story would play out. Fake relationships are always so fun, and paired with a travel romance? Yes, please! Their friendship so easily lent itself to more, and it was fun to see them travel through France and give in to their attraction, city by city. It felt so genuine as we saw Daniel become more comfortable with Scarlett and share the details of that past the he had kept bottled up. I adored them together- their chemistry was scorching and so believable.
