52 Books in 2018: 1-9

I LOVE to read. 

It's seriously my favorite thing to do.

And lucky for me, I'm a super fast reader so when 

I take the time to stop and read, I can read a LOT. 

The last week I've been under the weather and so I've spent lots of time

 sitting with Poppy in my lap reading. (IE= heaven!)

My goal is to read 52 books this year and I was able to get 9 read last week. 

Now a word of caution- I like to read lots of different types of books. 

I love Christian fiction, Christian non-fiction, true crime, mysteries, and romance. 

So my book choices are all over the place.

Interesting and suspenseful

Good, solid mystery

The Forgetting Time by Sharon Guskin

I listed to this one on Audible and it was so good.

A very different type of topic but I loved it!

Historical, based on a true story, and FABULOUS

Great family story!

Lies She Told by Cate Holahan

Super thriller, interesting plot

Do Not Become Alarmed by Malie Maloy

Heart-racing thriller

It's Always the Husband by Michele Campbell

Great story of friendship, love and betrayal

Poison by Galt Niederhoffer

Marriage/abuse thriller

A little too dark for me...I had to skip over a few parts. 

Rating: 2.5

What I'm Reading Right Now

I love to read and I read a LOT. 

I love both fiction and non-fiction & am usually reading several books at once. 

Right now I'm reading a bunch of non-fiction books that are AWESOME!

Shannon's Sweet Finds

I love to read and I read A LOT. 

I usually read on my Kindle app and because I am a fast reader

 I am always looking for books that have gone free or are 

on great sale each day in the Kindle store

so I don't have to spend a huge fortune to feed my reading habit.  

As I hunt for free and sale books each morning I usually come up with 

quite a big list of books that are great deals. 

I often post them on my personal Facebook page but was hesitant

 to do so every day for fear of irritating my Facebook friends who aren't big readers.  

But then I started hearing from reading friends how 

much they loved the free or sale book posts and several said...

Why don't you start a FB page so you can post them everyday?

So...I did! 

Shannon's Sweet Finds is an open page where I post free and/or sale books each day.  

I only post about twice a day- with a single post 

for sale books and another for free books- 

with more books in the comments of each post. 

The thing to remember is that Amazon prices can change hourly, 

so grab these quickly before they go back to full price.
