Everything is Rosy Mini Pizza Boxes

Hello stampers! Today I have a fun and easy treat box to share with you using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley. This is an awesome suite of products available through May 31st (or while supplies last) from Stampin’ Up!® and has everything you need to create beautiful papercrafting projects.
Everything in the photo above (and more) is included in this kit! CLICK HERE for more details. Now if you know me, you know that I am a HUGE fan of anything pink and rose gold. I was very fortunate to be able to demonstrate this product medley at Stampin’ Up!® OnStage in April, so I have been enjoying these products for quite some time now. Although the colors in the suite are fabulous, the stamp set takes on a whole new look when you ink it up in a variety of different colors.
It’s probably not a surprise that I used the color combo of my blog as my inspiration for this project, right? I just love the look of bright and cheery yellows with a subtle gray. So pretty! If pink isn’t involved, yellow is usually my second favorite “go-to” color.

Today’s Colors:

Let’s talk for a minute about treat boxes. Stampin’ Up!® has a few options to make sharing a little treat or gift with someone special super easy. The Mini Pizza Boxes are one of my favorite treat holders! They are easy to assemble and have so many possibilities to dress them up. What you put inside is up to you. I’ve used these a lot for everything from candy, to scented tea light candles, to little lotions and hand gels. How about a little collection of 3” x 3” note cards and envelopes? Yup, they fit as well. You can even spritz some ink on the outside of the box to change up the color.
Measurements and Details:
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock - 3-1/4” x 3-1/4”
  • Gray Granite Cardstock - 3” x 3”, embossed with Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock - cut using 2-3/4” scalloped Layering Circles Dies
  • Whisper White Cardstock - cut using 2-5/8” Layering Circles Dies
  • On Whisper White circle, stamp sentiment and leaves in Gray Granite ink, then thank two of the small floral images in Daffodil Delight ink
  • On a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamp medium floral image in Pineapple Punch ink, then stamp small “center” of flower in Daffodil Delight ink, stamp leaf image in Gray Granite. Cut out using Everything is Rosy Dies, then pop up on circle using Stamps’ Dimensionals.
  • Use Sprig Punch on Vellum Cardstock to add accent. Use Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for sparkle. Add to back of popped up flower using a Mini Glue Dot.
  • Add rhinestones

To adhere the ribbon, I added two little strips of Tear & Tape to the back tabs on the pizza box (see photo above) then I ran the Daffodil Delight 1/4” Double Stitched Ribbon snugly around the box. Next, I took a second piece of ribbon and tied a bow, which I added to the front of the box with Mini Glue Dots.

I hope you enjoy this little treat box today. I’ve listed all of the products I used below.

I also want to remind you that there is still a little time left to purchase Everything is Rosy. Everything is Rosy for PP443

Hello and Happy Sunday stamping friends! This week over at The Paper Players, the always awesome LeAnne has a fun sketch challenge for us. I just love sketch challenges and this one is no exception.

I decided to use the Everything is Rosy Product Medley for my card. This is a limited time offer only during the month of May (while supplies last) and includes an amazing grouping of products, including the Everything is Rosy stamp set, Rose Gold Foil Paper and rose gold foil die cut images that I used here on my card. There is SO much product in this kit! If you haven’t checked it out yet, CLICK HERE for more info.
We hope you will join us this week and play along with the sketch. Remember, those flowers can be ANY shape or element. You can interpret the sketch how ever you’d like, just have some fun creating!
Once I finally decided what I was going to use to create my card (which was quite the process this week!) it all came together pretty easily. Those pre-printed, pre-cut rose gold foil dies look super fancy and couldn’t be easier to use. I’m also using a sneak peek of two of the new In Colors that will be available in the NEW Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog beginning June 4th: Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose. These colors look fantastic paired with rose gold, don’t they?

The Designer Series Paper is also in the new catalog. I just love that simple script pattern. It adds detail without being too distracting. That little scallop trim is from the Be Mine Stitched Dies and the embossed background was done with the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder. The itty-bitty rose gold circles that I used as accents are actually from one of the borders on the pre-printed tags in the Everything is Rosy Product Medley. I saved them to use as accents on other projects! They can easily be added with a little bit of liquid glue and a little bit of patience. Ha!
My inspiration for the color combo came from a cover for my planner. I’m a little obsessed with rose gold, obviously. Even the coil is rose gold. Yes, I still use a paper planner. I would be lost without it! I’ve tried to use my phone as a planner and it never works for me. I’m just a pen and paper kind of gal.

 Card Measurements:

  • Seaside Spray Cardstock - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Rose Gold Foil Paper (from Everything is Rosy Product Medley) - 3-5/8” x 4-7/8”
  • Rococo Rose Cardstock - 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”
  • Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with Simple Stripes Embossing Folder) - 3-3/8” x 4-5/8”
  • 2019-2021 In Color DSP - 1-3/4” x 3-3/8”
  • Rococo Rose Cardstock (cut scallop trim with Be Mine Stitched Dies) - 1” x 3-3/8”
  • Whisper White Cardstock (sentiment) - 3/8” x 3”

Finally, here is a peek inside the card, dressed up with more of the DSP and a couple stamped images. I left it bank to write a handwritten thank you note.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share a project using this beautiful color combo. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 31st, 2019.

Everything is Rosy for PP440

Hello and Happy Sunday stamping friends! This week at The Paper Players, the lovely Jaydee has a fun theme challenge for us to create with: “Life is Better with Friends..."
I don’t know about you but sending cards to friends is one of my favorite things. There doesn’t have to be an occasion other than to simply say hello. I really enjoyed this week’s theme as it is a great reminder to send a card or two. There is nothing better than finding a handmade card in your mailbox, is there?
For my card, I decided to use some of my favorite products right now, the Everything is Rosy Product Medley. This is a limited collection of products that Stampin’ Up!® is offering from May 1st and is available while supplies last. This product medley contains so much product to create with and the color combo of navy, pink and rose gold is fabulous. The sentiment in the stamp set is one of my favorites right now and I think is it just a great sentiment to share with a friend for so many occasions, including just telling them how amazing they are.

The color of pink included in the kit itself is a little brighter and more closely relates to Melon  Mambo, but I decided to use one of the navy and rose gold patterns of Designer Series Paper and accent it with one of the new In Colors that will be coming out on June 4th: Rococo Rose.
I have actually been creating with these products for a couple of months now as I had the amazing opportunity to present them last month at the Stampin’ Up!® OnStage event here in San Antonio, TX. I absolutely LOVE this Product Medley! I’ve listed everything that comes in this Product Medley at the end of this post. You really get a LOT of product.

One of the items that comes in the kit that I can’t stop using is the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint! For this card, I mixed a couple of drops of the shimmer paint with some rubbing alcohol (70% tends to work the best, I’ve found) in a Stampin’ Spritzer. Give it a really good shake to mix it up. Then, I spritzed the paint/alcohol mixture on a Whisper White Layering Circle die and not only did it apply some awesome sparkle, but it actually added the soft pink color to accent the card.
This card ended up becoming a “fun fold” card of sorts because I really wanted to use that decorative die featuring the leaves and berries. I cut it out of the rose gold foil paper and I love how it looks with that beautiful Designer Series paper. I also added some stamped and die cut accents around the sentiment to dress it up a little. That tag with the rose gold foil accent is part of the kit and I just love how it adds that extra pop of detail around the sentiment.

Card Measurements:
  • Night of Navy Card Base - 5-1/2” x 7-1/4”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Rococo Rose Cardstock - 2-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Everything is Rosy Designer Series Paper - 2-3/4” x 5”
  • Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
  • Rococo Rose (embossed with Subtle Embossing Folder) - 3/4” x 5-3/8”

Finally, here is a look inside the card. I added a small strip of Rococo Rose cardstock to tie the colors together along with a stamped image and sentiment. I added some Shimmer Paint detail to the little “berries” on the stamped image. This is super-easy! Simply shake up your bottle of paint, open it up and then take a sharpened pencil and lightly dip it into the lid of the paint and “dot” some onto the image. Remember to give the paint a little time to dry completely before closing your card.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share a project using the theme challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 10th, 2019.
