Right on the Nail ~ March 2016 Target Subscription Box: SinfulColors in Lie-Lac

SinfulColors Lie-Lac (2 coats)

Hi guys! Back in March I bought my first ever Target Subscription Box. I loved the box, but they've been raising their prices for the past few months (the one I got was $5, I believe....April was $7, and May was $10). I know the price point depends on what's in the box unlike other subscription boxes, but I still felt like they should all be $5. It also differs from other boxes in that when you sign up, it's only for one box and you must order again every month. It seems like the boxes usually go on sale around the 1st of the month during the very early morning hours on EST. Anyway, my March box contained one full-sized SinfulColors polish in Lie-Lac which is a blue-toned lilac creme. I often find the formula on SinfulColors polishes to be quite hit-or-miss, and this one just so happens to be a hit! It was smooth sailing with this one in just 2 coats.

As I mentioned yesterday, the Kylie Jenner polishes and other SinfulShine polishes run $2.98, whereas the original formula (like this one) are only $1.98. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors King Kylie Precious Metals and Crown Jewels Collection Swatches and Review: Minty Fresh and Slay Grey

Hi guys! Tonight I have 2 of the 20 King Kylie Collection polishes from SinfulColors to show you. I'll be the first to admit that I don't really understand the whole Kardashian thing. I mean, good for them making bank for just hanging out on camera and doing endorsements like these (and Kylie's lip kits which look like dupes from ColourPop). While I was at Walmart a few weeks ago I found a large display with these polishes, so I decided to pick a couple up to see what the fuss is about.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Summer 2015 Street Fusion Collection Reviews and Swatches: Otaku Anime and Paste-erd

SinfulColors Otaku Anime (2 coats) over 1 coat yellow creme

SinfulColors Paste-erd (1 coat) over 2 coats white

*press samples*

I'm back from DC! I was so exhausted last night that I didn't have a chance to blog. Sorry! So many pens and so little time. I feel like I took a million pictures, but none with my phone. I do have a haul photo on my Instagram and Twitter. I'm back today with a couple more polishes from the SinfulColors summer line. Otaku Anime is a sheer yellow shimmer that will either need 4 coats over no polish or 2 coats over a white or yellow polish. I used a yellow creme as underwear, but if you don't mind VNL or have short nails, you may use it alone. The formula was a bit thin, so be careful of pooling, Despite it being sheer, I think it's a perfect bright yellow.

The second polish I have is called Paste-erd which is a glitter topcoat with black and light blue hexagonal glitter and a sprinkling of black bar glitter in a clear base. Some are not a fan of bar glitter, but I tend to like it and it's not the focal point. I used it over a bright white, but I could see this over lots of different colors. It was fairly glitter dense and I didn't even get any bubbling at all.

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Summer 2015 Street Fusion Collection Reviews and Swatches: Maroon Fine and Fuji Fuji

*press samples*

SinfulColors Maroon Fine (2 coats)

SinfulColors Fuji Fuji (1 coat) over 2 coats China Glaze UV Meant to Be

Hi guys! I went to see David Venable from QVC last night, but unfortunately my seats were a bit crappy. It was outdoor seating, and they ended up letting people in really early. It was still fun, but I have no good pictures of it.

Tonight I have a couple polishes from one of the SinfulColors summer collection called Street Fusion. The first color is called Maroon Fine (cute name!) which isn't really maroon if you ask me. I think it's more of a burnt orange color with orange and pink shimmer. It's not my favorite color, but that's just a personal preference. The formula was extremely smooth in just 2 coats. I found the real winner here was Fuji Fuji which I wasn't expecting. It's a silver hexagonal holographic glitter in a clear base. It is very glitter dense without the application issues that come with a dense glitter polish. This would look great over any creme polish and I have it over a new China Glaze color called UV Meant to Be. Oh, and notice how there are no bubbles? Yay!

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Citrus Twist and Opalescent Topper Collections: Horizon Shine and Prized Plume

*press samples*

Hello beautiful! Tonight I have the final 2 spring polishes from SinfulColors. Each come from a different collection: Horizon Shine comes from the Citrus Twist Topper collection and Prized Plume comes from the Opalescent Topper collection. Each collection contains a total of 3 new polishes and I have 1 from each. Even though these are called toppers, you can get these both to be opaque on their own.

SinfulColors Horizon Shine (3 coats)

I sort of wish I got 2 of the Citrus Twist colors because they are beautiful glass-flecked polishes. Horizon Shine is a bright red with orange, pink and gold glass flecks. I love it! This one was more pigmented than Prized Plune and completely covered in 3 easy coats. Definitely pick this one up!

SinfulColors Prized Plume (3 coats)

Prized Plume can sometimes look straight up blue, but in others can appear more teal. I guess you could call it a peacock blue. It has an opalescent shimmer finish that would probably work best layered. It was hard to get the tips of my nails to completely cover. As you can see, it's a bit sheer on its own, but 3 thin coats is fine. Make sure to make the layers thin because you can get some bubbling if you don't.

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Bloomblast Glitter Collection Swatches and Reviews: Petal Be the Day

SinfulColors Petal Be the Day (2 coats) over 1 coat China Glaze What a Pansy

*press sample*

Tonight I have the last polish from the SinfulColors BloomBlast Collection called Petal Be the Day. Of course the first thing I thought of was That'll Be the Day from Buddy Holly & the Crickets (RIP Buddy Holly). I thought that Petal Be the Day would be like the other 2 colors from the BloomBlast collection...but no. The base pretty much has no color at all. I ended up using China Glaze's What a Pansy as a base to give that dusty periwinkle color with royal blue and purple glitter. I wish the base had more pigment, so I would have to recommend Flower Power and Standing Bloom Only over Petal Be the Day. TGIF!

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Bloomblast Glitter Collection Swatches and Reviews: Flower Power and Standing Bloom Only

*press samples*

Hump Day! I hope your week is going well (and fast). SinfulColors has 3-4 collections out for for this spring. They have the regular spring collection, the Opalescent Trend Toppers, the Citrus Twist Toppers, and the Bloomblast Glitter collection. Tonight I have the 2 of the 3 Bloomblast Glitter polishes. These clearly are all glitters, but each one has a different finish. You'll see!

SinfulColors Flower Power (3 coats)

Up first is Flower Power which is a baby pink jelly with magenta and white glitters. Going in, I didn't know if these would be opaque on their own, but 2 out of the 3 are. Flower Power has no underwear in the above swatches and covers completely in 3 coats. This reminds me of some colors you can see from some indie brands, so congrats to SinfulColors on trying something a bit different. Surprisingly, I had no issues with it being too thick or anything.

SinfulColors Standing Bloom Only (3 coats)

Standing Bloom Only is a deep mango orange creme with fuchsia glitter. This one is also opaque in 3 coats, but looks less jelly-like than Flower Power. I love this combination of colors together!

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors 2015 Valentine's Day Flirt With Hearts Collection Swatches and Reviews: Love Sprinkles and Decadent

*press samples*

Tonight I have the final 2 polishes from the Flirt With Hearts Collection which both happen to be glitter topcoats.

SinfulColors Love Sprinkles (2 coats) over 2 coats Zoya Eden (2 coats)

Love Sprinkles is the limited edition polish from the collection which contains white hearts with various sized pink and white hexagonal glitter. I didn't have to fish very hard for the heats, either. If I looked closely at pictures I saw some bubbles, but I couldn't see it in real life.

SinfulColors Decadent (2 coats) over 2 coats Morgan Taylor Watch Your Step, Sister

Decadent is a fairly simple red glitter topcoat. Unlike Love Sprinkles, I had no issues with any bubbling.

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors 2015 Valentine's Day Flirt With Hearts Collection Swatches and Reviews: Dream On and Pinky Glitter

*press samples*

SinfulColors has released a new collection for Valentine's Day which includes 8 shades and a limited edition glitter topcoat called Love Sprinkles (don't worry, I'll be showing that one tomorrow). Tonight I have 2 of the 4 polishes to show everyone.

SinfulColors Dream On (3 coats)

Up first we have Dream On which is a nightmare to photograph. It's a neon purple with pink undertones. If you don't use a topcoat, you will end up with a fairly matte finish. This is just a repromote and not a new polish.

SinfulColors Pinky Glitter (4 coats)

I made the mistake of using Pinky Glitter on its own. I figured the blog is a good place to make mistakes so you can use this pink glitter with holographic glitter as a topcoat and not alone. The formula was actually ok with the 4 coats I used, but I had to use 4 coats. This is also a repromote, so check your collection before purchasing.

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Also check out SinfulColors on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

SinfulColors Wicked Colors For Halloween 2014

*press samples*

SinfulColors Cauldron Couture (2 coats) over 2 coats Butter London Wellies

Cauldron Couture is a black and green glitter topper with green shreds and black large and small hexagonal glitter. There weren't too many shreds, and I really liked the mix of colors. These were pretty densely packed, but I still used 2 coats for all but Pumpkin Spice. The formula was perfect; not too thin and not too thick.

SinfulColors Glow in the Dark (2 coats) over Chloe & Bella Black Out (1 coat)

I'll be honest: I'm not really into glow in the dark polishes. They usually don't work well, and if they do, it is the worst trying to take a picture of it. As you can see, with 2 coats over black, it leaves a milky shimmer in the light. I sat my fingers and bottle in light for over 5 minutes, and the bottle was crazy bright as you can see above. Unfortunately this overtook any color you could see well on my nails, but it was there. The formula and application was exceptional though.

SinfulColors Mystery Moonshine (2 coats) over 2 coats Zoya Veruschka

Unlike Cauldron Couture, Mystery Moonshine only contained multi-colored shreds of blue, green and orange. I really liked this one more than I thought I would. I like the color combination, and the removal process was extremely easy compared to the ones with glitter.

SinfulColors Pumpkin Spice (1 coat) over 1 coat Chloe & Bella Black Out

At first I thought Pumpkin Spice was going to be a full coverage glitter, but I don't think you could make it opaque on its own (maybe with 4 coats). The mix of orange and gold reminds me of fall and Thanksgiving instead of Halloween, but nevermind that. Overall, this isn't a favorite from the collection, but it's still a nice glitter topper.

SinfulColors Splatter Spell (2 coats) over 3 coats China Glaze Orange You Hot?

And lastly we have Splatter Spell which is a topper with orange shreds and the same black glitter from Splatter Spell. I thought China Glaze's Orange You Hot? would be a good base, but it sort of makes the shreds blend in. Sorry about that! I should have picked a different orange or different color altogether. It applied exactly the same as Cauldron Couture which is a good thing.

Overall, there are 14 Halloween colors you can find exclusively at Walgreens and Target. Some of these are repromotes, but you may not have them already. These retail for $1.99 each, which is a great deal. You can find SinfulColors on Twitter or Facebook to check out what's new in their world.
