I used to teach a monthly scrapbooking class at the local library. I just don't have the time anymore but I did create some pretty cute layouts for the class. Check this one out. The girl on the tube is a paper piecing from Precious Piecings. The patterns there are awesome! You should check them out.

PKS Let's Face it Fridays Challenge #2
Challenge #2 for the Peachy Keen "Let's Face it Fridays" was to create a project with our muse in mind. I'm sure many of you consider your children as your creative muse, as I do. My beautiful daughter posed for these pictures last winter and I was happy to finally get around to getting these pictures on a scrapbook page. Below are the step by step instructions to make the little snow angel girl. Want to win some Peachy Keen stamps? Hop on over to the challenge site and play along with the challenge. The prize for the winner of the challenge is "Winter Faces" PK-521 and the new "Snow Cuties" PK-501 stamp sets! Be sure to also check out the other awesome projects by the DT members.
The sweet little snow angel girl was created using the build-a-bear die and some Stampin' Up! punches. For the basics on creating a jointed figure, see my instructions HERE. For the face, I used the 1 1/4" Circle (pink pirouette) and stamped the PKS Everyday Character Faces (1" size). I added white to the eyes with a uniball white gel pen and some blush to the cheeks with one of my new favorite tools, the cheek chalk brush. For the rest of the body, punch/die cut the following pieces:
Die cut 2 Build-a-Bear in baja breeze. (follow assembly instructions for jointed girl).
2 each of 3/4" Circle & 1/2" Circle for the arm and leg joints in baja breeze
Die cut feet only on the Build a Bear in black
Die cut hands only on the Build a Bear in real red
1 3/4" Circle in wild wasabi - HOOD
2 Tags (small) in wild wasabi - JACKET
Large Tag in wild wasabi (cut in half) - SLEEVES
25 small flowers from Itty Bitty Punch Pack - FUR TRIM
For jacket, cut the large tag in half and round out sharp corners to create jacket sleeves. Glue sleeves onto arms. Glue mittens onto hands. Attach arms to body with mini brads. Attach boots to legs with dimensionals. Attach legs to body with mini brads.
Glue small tags together to create jacket (lay on top of body to determine width). Round out sharp corners at top. Cut a 1/4" wide strip for the bottom of the jacket. Sponge edges of all wild wasabi pieces with garden green ink. Attach jacket to body with dimensionals (position dimensionals so that it doesn't prevent the jointed arms from moving).
Glue 1 3/4" circle onto head. Glue face onto hood. Glue fur trim pieces onto hood and cuffs. Punch small circles with crop-a-dile for buttons on jacket.

Sometimes Lilly can act like such a little monkey that I sometimes will call her my little Monkeyshine. The monkey is from the ZooBaloo Cricut cartridge. The title was done with SCAL and my cricut machine.

diaper darling scrapbook page
These pictures were taken when Lilly was 6 months old. I LOVE this Stampin' Up! DSP. Too bad it was discontinued. But, I did manage to get 3 full packages before it retired (and I've already used half of it). For all of you card makers out there, I will be sharing more cards soon. I have 3 challenges I'm trying to get prepared for and I'm still working on my holiday class. I work full-time, so I can only work on it in the evenings after Lilly goes to bed. Thanks for your patience!
holiday scrapbook layout
Here are a couple more pages. I wished I had scanned some of these pages and stitched them since I had some bowing of the cardstock when I stood them up to photograph them in my cube. Lilly was only 2 in these photos.

Discovering the Daisy scrapbook layout and MORE INFO
Good morning everyone! I finally got around to photographing some of my scrapbook pages. I'll be posting a layout every day for a few days in addition to all of my other posts. On the punching horizon, I have some fabulous projects coming up in the next week for the Peachy Keen new release party and the next PKS Challenge. You won't want to miss these ones! Also, I'm still working on my new holiday collection. It's taking me a little longer than anticipated but I'm hoping to have it out by the middle of October. Be sure to check back on Thursday when I announce the winner of my Blogoversary drawing HERE! And, there is still time to share your halloween/autumn themed project (stamped or punched) for a PKS stamp set HERE.
These pictures were taken when Lilly was only 9 months old. She is discovering my daisies in the back yard. I wish you could see this page in person. The papers are deeply embossed with daisies and the daisy flowers on the page were punched in shimmery white.
Here is a close-up of the title on page one. The D is a chipboard letter that has been sponged with mellow moss craft ink. Then, I stamped "too cute for words" along the one side of the letter. The daisies are made with the Stampin' Up! 5-Petal flower punch (layer 2) and there is a yellow jewel brad in the center. The leaves are mellow moss grosgrain ribbon. The letters were stamped with a Stampin' Up! alphabet set

Fall Frolic page spread
These pictures were taken when Lilly was only 1 year old. I really love these pictures. The papers I used are some retired Stampin Up DSP. I think it was called Fall Flowers? The stamps I used for the leaves are also Stampin' Up! (sorry, I can't remember the name of the set). I used my Cricut with SCAL to cut the title. I used the Stampin' Up! photo corners punch for the multi colored photo corner embellishments on the 2nd page. That punch is great for creating cute layered photo corners.

Pretty in Pink page spread
Good morning everyone. Here is a page spread I created using a paper piecing pattern from Precious Piecings. I used my Cricut with SCAL to create the title. If you have SCAL, you'll want to hop over to Lisa's site and get a bunch of patterns. All of her patterns come with an svg cut file.

Lil punkin scrapbook page
I used a paper piecing pattern from Precious Piecings for the pumpkins on my page. I made this before I got into punch art. I've seen some pretty cute punch art pumpkins online. The title was made with my Cricut and SCAL.

A Bad Day scrapbook page
Lilly was having a pretty bad day that day. Nothing was going her way and she just wanted to throw a tantrum. The stuffed animals and nook were the only thing to comfort her!

Binky Love
my daughter have a very fond attachment to her binky until her 3rd birthday. I told her that on her birthday, she had to throw it in the garbage. I was surprised how easily she gave it up and was even able to sleep at night without it.
