Christ sign made with wood pallets

I made this beautiful Christ sign at Super Saturday at church with my girlfriends Melissa and Rachael. It reads: Christ is the center of our home, a guest at every meal, a silent listener to every conversation. I thought it would be a good idea to start Christmas time and decorating my new cute house with this sign. It is made of re purposed wood pallets, vinyl white words and grey flat paint. I don't know the name of the paint because I forgot it at church that day but it just matches my light grey walls and it is not a glossy paint or latex. It's an flat Acrylic from Hobby Lobby.  I didn't paint the back but even against the mirror you don't notice. Only in the pic. LOL
I started my Christmas tree. I have a super beautiful nativity scene but it's still in boxes somewhere in the garage. I am still unpacking.
How do you bring Christ into your Christmas season?

Le chateau des fleurs new Home Tour

It finally arrived, we are home owners. I really think it would take me years to find my perfect home but it was very fast. This house was the 2nd house I saw and I totally fell in love. It was just perfect. The materials, colors, floor plan. Super charming with a French touch.
This house has a very good feeling, it felt right which is very important to me. It's very modest but High ceilings and the light walls makes the house look and feel bigger. If I would have had build a house it could have looked that way. It was meant for me.

The front room with dark hand scrapped hardwood floors. All the walls are a soft grey color although in some pictures you can't tell. The carpets are a soft grey too. All the trims are white.

The kitchen with lots of cabinets, Aqua blue pantry door, stainless steel appliances. White subway tiles for back splash. High breakfast bar.

Frigidaire appliances and Aqua blue door.

Gas stove

Laundry room

Dining room

Living room. This fire place is very French inspired. I love the high ceilings and all the windows on the side. This house is extremely bright. There is a very yummy light and lots of windows.

I love those stairs. Perfect for hanging pictures. It's just beautiful.

My boy's room

Kid's bathroom

The Master bedroom.

Where the bed will be. Between the two windows.

And last but not least. My craft room! Yes! I get a craft room. Happy dance!!
Hope you enjoyed the tour. I seriously have no furniture for this house so it will be a lot of thrifting and finding treasures. What do you think? What should I do?

Festive flurry ornament kit from Stampin'up!

Festive flurry ornament on my white Christmas tree. Very easy to make and it is my favorite Christmas craft this year.
I really love paper art and crafts and this kit is amazing. I was able to make these beautiful snow flakes. Since I don't really have the time I love easy and fast projects that can impress and this is perfect.
The kit has 10 snow flakes and it's plenty enough to decorate your tree or give as gifts.
Here are the many uses:
Tree ornament, snow flake Paper wreath, hanging on a banner, on a gift, on a Christmas card, Mini tree topper, give the kit as a gift to the paper art lover, on a cloche or jar, on a picture frame, for a Christmas party on paper hats, hanging from the ceiling, on cupcakes, on party favors bags. Etc..

Festive flurry ornaments used as a banner
 On a gift
On a party favor bag or gift bag and for a Christmas card.

They are gorgeous and so much fun!

Disclosure: I was given a free Festive flurry ornament kit from Stampin'up! in  exchange for a review.

Beautiful Pink Christmas wrapping present idea

I really like beautiful gifts and gift wraps. These are very easy and fast.
I always love a mini ornament with my wrapping and I usually attach it at the base of the bow. I used brown paper and I draw the "From Isabelle" with white chalk. You can recycle brown paper from the store grocery bags or buy a roll of brown paper.  I used simple and bright ribbons. I am going for a pink Christmas theme this year.Chalk is all up in fashion this year and I really love it.

What colors are you going for Christmas?
