The Paris bistro: Alt summit, Tiny prints

I started the Alt summit blogger conference with a fantastic Dinner at The Paris Bistro in Salt lake city. As you know I am from Paris and I am always hesitant when I eat at a French restaurant because I have been disappointed in the past. Not here. The food was delicious and authentic. Beautifully arranged in your plate. We had a 4 meal course and it was splendid! Like at home in Paris! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

The table was styled by Aubrey of French Knot studios. She even gave me one of the pink vases with flowers to take home. She doesn't know how much it made me happy. I always have flowers in my home. I love flowers!
Maria Fuentes from Tiny prints sponsored the dinner party.
She gave us some pretty sweet gifts. A tiny prints ipad case and Easel art made with printable designs by TomKat studio. An Essie Nail polish and a notebook. Perfect since I like to write my notes on paper. Also some pretty amazing Cookies by Sweet Kiera.

I also got to meet Briton Alo, the blogger behind Rad Mom Cool Kid. We know each other from Instagram.
More exiting events tomorrow...

Settebello pizza in Salt lake city for My birthday

I really wanted a very good pizza for my birthday. Even an authentic Italian one! My husband took me to Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana. They have their brick oven and a very calm atmosphere. Very popular with people working in Salt lake city!

I also had a Dr Pepper. I don't drink Pop but I think it goes very well with pizza and a cheat meal.
I had the Capricciosa pizza and Russ had the Vico. So good! Have you had an authentic pizza before? And if you tell me you did in Italy. I'll be jealous! LOL

Los cucos Mexican cafe : It's a date!

Hubby is a big fan of Mexican food. I love it too but I have to say it always tastes the same to me. But not to Los Cucos in Sandy. This is really, amazing delicious Mexican food. The best I had so far. Russ had the fried avocado and I had the fish tacos. The restaurant looks good inside too. The server was very classy  and proper. Hubby and I go on lots of date but I don't always blog about it. Only if the place was really good.

Chinese new year date at Ho Ho Gourmet restaurant

Hubby was craving authentic Chinese cuisine and that sounded so good to me too! I love sweet pork buns a lot so much that I crave them and salivate just thinking about it. Russ wanted potstickers and got shrimp ones. OH so GOOD! We also got their orange chicken dish and it was the best I ever had so far. The restaurant is not grand inside but the food is excellent at the Ho Ho Gourmet restaurant in Salt lake city.
Do you like authentic chinese food? Have you tried?

My girls and me at Cafe Zupas

My girls and I went shopping for colored skinny jeans for back to school and we had lunch at the popular Cafe Zupas. It was super delicious and they loved it! Even the kid meal is well sized and tasty. Ok, I had to taste the melted cheese sandwich. It was simply magnifique!! Mimi enjoyed her chicken enchilada soup and me the nuts about berries salad. Only 107 calories for 1/2 salad. Super yum and it also fits my healthy meal plan!

Kids meal is tasty and perfectly sized for a child
 Chicken enchilada soup
Nuts about berries salad only 106 calories for 1/2 salad
Cafe Zupas has locations in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.

Disclosure: I received a free Zupas gift card from Cafe Zupas. The review is my honest opinion of the food and dining experience.

Our trip to St George

We spent 2 days in St George last week-end. It is 6 hours from Salt lake city and 2 hours from Las Vegas.

 Snow canyon
The St George Valley and the St George Temple
 The narrows
Baby playing in the sand

The whole crew without me

Some pics from my cell phone of the trip:
It was Spring over there with flowers blooming everywhere. Such a fun little trip.
Then we come home to Salt lake city and it snows...
Do you have anything planned for spring break?

Must have makeup and fashion for spring

I am so over winter, spring needs to come ASAP.
So dear friends my wardrobe and clothes are going springy!
Here are few must have and exiting makeup and fashion for early spring:

Teal cat eyes and bright lips:
This is purely fashionable and goes with any eye color. I have blue eyes and usually I would not recommend blue eye shadow but here it works with the teal eye pencil or eye liner.

Urban decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Zero and Mainline / Gifted Amazonian clay smart mascara black / Urban Decay Naked Basics

To make my teal cat eyes I use a black eye liner first on the edge of my eyelashes like I usually do, then I apply the teal eye pencil next to the black pencil making sure that I end with a point at the outside of the eye. A bone color eye shadow all over the eye lid for day time, here Urban decay "Venus". Then apply your mascara.
For night time you might apply a darker eye shadow on the lid for a smokey eye like Urban decay "Faint".

Maybelline color whisper in 100 A plum prospect / Cover girl lip pencil 225 beloved bien - aimee

Bright lipsticks are fun for this spring. The whole line of Maybelline color whisper will do that.
Always use a lip liner for perfect pout

Fashion statement for spring:

Target floral scarf / Bag sold a my hairstylist's salon

- A great faux croco or snake hand bag. The big designers are crazy for it even with clothing.

- A romantic Floral light scarf. Choose a scarf with colors that match your wardrobe already. A bright colored scarf is ok and very feminine as long as it is floral. Floral is going to be big this spring with dresses etc... I am exited for it!

Belle bird Teal Cardigan/ Belle bird Ocre Shirt/ Teal long necklace from shopko

- Teal again is big with clothing as well.

- Feminine ruffles and details like fabric flowers on this cardigan.
- Sunglasses. The sun is coming out, get them out. They are pretty and also an anti-aging tool. Less wrinkles on your eyes and forehead. If you live in Utah you wear them all year long because of the snow and lots of sunshine!

Sunglasses from Kmart / Floral Target scarf

Perfect for a sushi date at Mt. Fuji Sushi Bar and Japanese Cuisine in Sandy, Utah
SO delicious! I recommend it!

Are you ready for spring? Do you have snow where you are? Here it won't stop snowing!
