 I wanted to take the perfect pictures to show you how gorgeous Elsa's eyes are. Nature is beautiful. I am a big cat lover. She enjoyed staying with us while we were making crafts and stopped to smell the roses.

Soleil was looking extra cute for church and a little photoshoot was called. She loves dresses and is a very girly girl. The kitten is getting a lot of attention. She is super cute.

Zacky is an Havanese dog

We got Zacky at the pound few years ago and i thought he was a Maltese mix. Well he is not!

Yesterday i was paying a visit to a friend and i could not believe it! She had my dog. It was another Zacky! She had another one in black and white and they totally acted like my boy! He is a Havanese Dog known in France as a Bichon Havanais.

I am so glad i know now because i love the little guy so much i would get another one like him if he was gone. Here are so pictures of him with long and short hair.

To tell you a little bit about his great personality: He is wonderful with children. He loves to cuddle and play. He is calm when you want him to and playful when you want him too. He knows a lot of tricks and is very smart. Shake, roll, dance, etc...

He loves other animals, including cats and tries to play with them and cuddle. My Cats think he his weird and nuts but they learned to adore him and will play with him. He is very good also with chickens and would herd them back in their coop when we had them. He will warn you when someone is at the door but he is not aggressive.

Lately in my life

soleil is growing very fast and loves the camera.

My African violet is re-blooming. Witch makes me so happy because i never had any flower inside my house re-bloom. The arrangement is doing great too.

My banana peppers are doing great and we had the best fajitas ever!

I finely met in person some great friends at the Parade of Homes. Jennifer and Cobi.

My Fairy started Kindergarten.

She is a Mommy's girl. She started saying Mama, Baba and Mimi (her big sister).

Zacky loves having a baby sister at the house. He love dirty diaper and binky chewing.

It is still summer and we keep busy with crafts and picnics. See Fun summer activity for young children.

What have you been up to?

Dog Bandanna DIY. No sew and cheap.

This is a very easy pet bandanna DIY or tutorial. You can sew it of course but since i don't have the time, I used my glue gun. You don't need to spend any money. Use scraps of fabrics and ribbons

Measure your pet's neck. Add 3 inches on each side.

Divide your pet's neck measurement by 2 for the length.

Cut the rectangle.

Fold the rectangle in 2.

Cut to be left with a triangle.

Glue with small glue gun half an inch seam all around the triangle. Do not use the high heat glue gun.

Turn your bandanna and glue your ribbon 1 inch away from edge.

You have a cute bandanna!

RIP Teddy

Our dog Teddy had been very sick with a skin condition that would not heal, this past year. He would not eat, never grew up and finally had a skin infection and we had to put him down.

He was the best and sweetest dog ever. I guess Golden retriever do not live long and it doesn't seem fair. He was only 3 years old our years.

We have the best memories with him. RIP peace. We will see you next life.

Chicken coop design and ideas on the cheap

we used to live in the woods...I loved it so much.
I dreamed about the woods last night and the fall colors...

I was very happy when i got some money to build a coop for my birthday.

I bought a $500 shed (7 by 7) at an home improvement store. We had a friend build it for us.

He extended the roof for an outside run...

You have to dig all around and bury the chicken wire for predators...

This is a big coop...

This picture is the first time they poke their head outside. I raised them in my garage and they were so ready to be outside!!

All finished...

I want some day again have chickens...It was a lot of fun. Hope you enjoyed this and that it inspires you to get your own coop.
