Summer don't go

I really enjoyed this summer. I think it's because I was outside a lot walking by myself and also I started my weight loss journey.
I loved Bracelets and the colors apricot and turquoise. Going to the beach was very fun and my trip to Paris was awesome.
I love this Apricot polka dots dress and since I have lost some weight it really looks good on me.
What was your favorite part of summer?

Fabric necklace base tutorial

I love Fabric necklaces !

First thing you want is 3 fabric flowers brooches, or add a brooch element to the back of  flowers...Then to make the base...

Cut a piece of felt, it should look like a banana...

Get a chain from the bead section at your craft store...

Sew the chain to the felt, make sure you can open it and close it.

Pin the flower brooches to the felt...Done !

I made another one with brown...Make sure the flowers fit on the banana felt.

Black and white flower brooch tutorial

Making this Black and white flower brooch is not hard. The hardest part is to find a silk flower that will not look too young looking.
I am going for the classy and grown up look.

I cut the stem with scissors. I made sure that the back was flat enough to be a brooch.

Hot glued a piece of felt and the brooch element.

Beautiful with pearls. Any color top would look amazing worn with it!

Parisian wreath tutorial

I find a pretty wreath at Hobby Lobby at 50% off.
I thought the color and style was perfect. The inside of the house is Yellow. Love the feathers...SO me.

Got this plaque 50% off too.
Ribbon that match 50% off.
A door hanger.

First I used the ribbon. Made a big bow and wrapped it around the wreath...

You can see from the back.

I made 3 fabric flowers....
With my glue gun. Folded the beginning, then glued and folded from the back...

Keep on going around and gluing....

Then crunch it up tight...

Glued them on the big bow...

Those roses are great for so many purpose. Scrapbooking, jewelry, accessories...Great embellishment!
I think it is funny...At the craft store, a lady asked me if i knew where the flowers from scrapbooking where...I replied...I don't know...I make them....

This flower is made with wire ribbon...
The wire in the ribbon makes it fast and easy to make them...You just manually bend it...
Then, I glued the Eiffel tower plaque....

I placed the flowers on the bottom right because the door is very tall. I wanted the guest to see the flowers when they look up...and enter...

I placed ribbon on the wreath holder too.

I love the black door...

I think it looks great with the door....

The tutorial on the red flowers from The best of State gala....
First, i find those flowers at the store....I liked the buttons and thought it would look good with the shoes....
Got some red tulle...

Here is the flower....

I cut the middle part of the flower off....Then, i hot glued the whole flower back together...

I cut the tulle a little bigger than the flower high....

The i folded it and threaded my thread

Gathered...

Until it did a full circle that i liked. Sew it together...

Hot glued it on the flower...

Brown felt and a brooch piece...

Hot glued...

Pretty...

Now for the bag...the length and the tassel was wrong...

I cut some of the chain off...the tassel off...

Perfect length...
