I made this beautiful Christ sign at Super Saturday at church with my girlfriends Melissa and Rachael. It reads: Christ is the center of our home, a guest at every meal, a silent listener to every conversation. I thought it would be a good idea to start Christmas time and decorating my new cute house with this sign. It is made of re purposed wood pallets, vinyl white words and grey flat paint. I don't know the name of the paint because I forgot it at church that day but it just matches my light grey walls and it is not a glossy paint or latex. It's an flat Acrylic from Hobby Lobby. I didn't paint the back but even against the mirror you don't notice. Only in the pic. LOL
I started my Christmas tree. I have a super beautiful nativity scene but it's still in boxes somewhere in the garage. I am still unpacking.
How do you bring Christ into your Christmas season?

I finally took some pics of my kids for this summer. I used the Iceberg roses that grow in my front yard to make the crowns and they wore white shirts or dress. This is very easy to do and very inexpensive. You can also make them with any other flowers for a different color palette and feel. Great little craft. I spent around $3 for this. The girls loved helping me and wearing them.
White roses crown DIY
You will need:
Flowers with stems
Florist tape
Florist wire
Place the wire around the person's head to see how big it should be and tie 2 wires together making a crown.
Cover the ends of wires with florist tape
Place your flowers one stem at a time and wrap the florist tape around them securing them to the crown. The florist tape only sticks to itself.
Go around the whole crown or just the front and sides. Keep the leafs on the stems they make the crown look fuller. Great for a photo shoot or party or to go with a gorgeous dress. Make a flower crown and enjoy the flowers before winter takes them away.

Rhonna and me
I have been introduced to Rhonna Designs few weeks ago and I was so exited when I learn she was giving a chalkboard class at Thanksgiving point, Lehi. Utah.
I signed up very quick and my kids thought I was nuts to be so happy about a "class".
I had no idea what to expect. I thought easy peasy, she must have a projector or something....
It is all freehand!
Here the pics of my arts:
"Spring has sprung, breathe it all in"
Below are Rhonna's creations. She is such an inspiration and the class was so much fun. I left happy about my new find talent and ideas rolling in my head.
"True friends are like the sun they always shine"
"Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind them"
I came home and my daughter jumped on the chalk obsession and was exited also while I was teaching her the basics. She made her copy of my "spring has sprung" art on the side walk.
I love fabric and sewing...Yes, I can sew. My Mom taught me when I was a kid and I am attracted to fabrics.
We had some fabulous and amazing posts about sewing and fabrics that I have been obsessing over.
I will share right away!
I fell in love with Miss Maggie steampunk Susan dress form. You have to see how she made her all Vintage. I love using paper and Fashion together.
