Enchanted Polish January & February 2015 Swatches & Review

Saturday, March 28, 2015
Hello everyone!

I decided to finally swatch my most recent Enchanted Polish purchases the other day, since they’ve been sitting here for a while.  I’m so happy I did, because they’re so gorgeous!

I’m kind of horrible when it comes to EP.  I secretly try to collect them all because I’m a huge fan, but they rarely appear on the blog because I usually “save" them for when I can wear them for longer periods of time; I know, silly.  I figured I should start sharing them with you all, so there will definitely be more swatches coming - I hope you all don’t mind! :)

#WNAC2014 - November / Metallic: Roundup

Sunday, November 30, 2014
Hello everyone!

This is a quick roundup post for my November / Metallic #WNAC2014 (Weekly Nail Art Challenge).  The theme for the month was metallic, which was the perfect theme for leading into the holidays, I would say!

New Years NOTD, featuring Enchanted Polish Dime Piece

Tuesday, December 31, 2013
Happy New Year everyone!

I created some simple but blingy and beautiful nails for tonight.  They put me in a really happy mood. :)

I used the totally amazing Enchanted Polish Dime Piece (two coats) on my middle and ring nails.  I think it must be the most holographic polish in my collection now, but I am still wondering how it compares to one of my most wanted polishes, Chanel Holographic (does anyone have a comparison??).

My index nail has one coat of a-England Camelot, topped with one coat of Enchanted Polish To Die For, which is seriously to die for.  And lastly, my pinky is two coats of Elevation Polish Mont Blanc, with one coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Silver.  I also added a little black stud to tie it all together.

I think they are perfect for the New Years, and I just can’t stop staring at the holographicness of them!

Hope you all have a lovely New Year, and thank you for reading! :)

NOTD: Neon & Nude + Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army

Sunday, November 24, 2013
Hi everyone!

I went with some bright nails for today’s NOTD.  I guess I just needed something to cheer me up since we now have snow here :(.  Today was also an Enchanted Polish restock, and I think this mani must have been good luck since I was quite successful!

Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army is basically a holographic topcoat, filled with lots of black and white glitter in a few different sizes.  The glitter is so dense that only one coat is necessary if you are layering it, but it could also be worn alone, it's just awesome!

31 Day Challenge - Day 9: Rainbow Nails

Thursday, September 12, 2013
Day 9 of the #31DC2013 was Rainbow Nails.

I just did some rainbow nails recently, so I wasn't too excited about creating another set.  I am pretty happy with how take two turned out though; I might even like them better than the first ones!

I started with two coats of Lime Crime Milky Ways, then I freehanded some curved lines for each color of the rainbow, leaving some of the base peeking through.  The accent nail is one coat of Enchanted Polish TenderHeart, and I placed one of the heart glitters in the middle of my nail.  Then, I added some loose red hexes surrounding the heart, and a few more randomly around my nail.

OPI Conquistadorable Color, Essie Action, Square Hue Bikini Beach, Barry M Key Lime Gelly, Bourjois Bleu Fabuleux, Orly Beach Cruiser, Lime Crime Milky Ways, and Enchanted Polish TenderHeart

My little one (Chloe) wanted in on the rainbow love as well, so here is her first feature on my blog! :)

31 Day Challenge - Day 6: Violet Nails

Sunday, September 08, 2013
Day 6 of the 31 Day Challenge (#31DC2013) was Violet Nails.

I really love the look of Bourjois Bleu Violet (the base that I used for these nails), but it was a pain to photograph.  It either looked black or totally blue in photos, when in person it's actually a really lovely blurple (quite a bit more purple than blue though.)  I used two coats for these nails, and it has a nice squishy finish.

I waited a while for the base to dry, and I applied some striping tape diagonally on my nails to create diamond shapes.  I sponged Enchanted Polish Purple Roses on the tips, then quickly removed the tape.  I love the holographic shimmer that Purple Roses adds to the effect.

My accent nail is two coats of OPI Alcatraz...Rocks, one of the most amazing Liquid Sand polishes OPI has created, in my opinion.  It's the strangest mix of blue, grey, and purple, and it has some gorgeous multicolored shimmer; I think it's mostly gold, pink, and purple, maybe some green too!  It's just stunning.

31 Day Challenge - Day 1: Red Nails

Monday, September 02, 2013
I haven't posted much nail art this past month and I am determined to start posting more, so I decided I would try the #31DC2013 31 Day Challenge by Chalkboard Nails.  Hopefully I can stick to it and get as many done as I can (or all of them, if possible!), so I'm going to try my best.  This is my first monthly challenge ever!

As you can see, Day 1 is Red Nails!  I love wearing red on my nails.  It's so flattering and always makes me happy.  I had a bunch of recently accquired reds to try, so I brought out a few that I was in the mood for.  One of my choices was a Liquid Sand by OPI from the Minnie Mouse Collection, Magazine Cover Mouse.  I used it on my accent nail and I am seriously in love with it.  One coat was fully opaque, and it's so gorgeous and sparkly.

The remaining nails have a gradient of Enchanted Polish J'adore and China Glaze Snap My Dragon.  They both have a lovely shimmer that pair well together.  Snap My Dragon is a pink-toned red, so all of the photos came out a lot more pink than it actually looks in real life.

On top, I used OPI Royal Rajah Ruby and a base coat by Finger Paints I had sitting around for a watermarble.  The base coat actually worked really well in the water; I was impressed!

Day 2 will be coming very soon!  Thank you for reading! :)

Enchanted Polish Mr. Burgundy Swatches & Review!

Saturday, July 13, 2013
My Enchanted Polish order arrived a few days ago and I still can't believe I managed to get all of these in the recent restock.  The polish I was most excited about getting was Mr. Burgundy.  I love my vampy burgundy polishes, and you can add holo to anything and I'll be content.

Mr. Burgundy is of course a burgundy holographic polish.  It is the perfect balance of red and plum, and the holo is very strong.  The formula is fabulous, but I am not surprised.  My camera washed out the color a bit and made it appear slightly more red than it is in person, though it is does look a lot more purple indoors than out in direct sunlight.  I used two coats for the photos below, no top coat.  Love!

And, I have to include a few photos of the other gorgeous polishes I hauled, because I am a bit obsessed!

Thank you for reading! :)

Enchanted Polish Nailmail!

Wednesday, June 19, 2013
I am a bit obsessed with Enchanted Polish, I won't even lie.  It all began sometime last year when I was gifted my first one in an exchange.  Now, I have a little growing collection of EP's, but they have become increasingly harder to get as of late.  While I was browsing Mei Mei's Signatures recently, I noticed that a bunch of them were in stock that I had my eye on, so I added them to my cart and checked out as fast as possible!

My order arrived yesterday, and of course I had to take a bunch of photos of them since they just blow my mind every time.  So, that is what I have for you today; swatches will be posted when I wear them! :)

The lovely people at Mei Mei's Signatures also included a cute set of nail wraps in my package, which was a nice surprise! :)
