    Go! Steampunk Tag by Michele

Hello all! The theme over at Tag Tuesday is "Maps Charts & Diagrams," and Michele Storms of my DT shared this fab steampunk-style tag she created for it.  Her tag uses some images from my Steampunk Girls collage sheet.  My husband and I have been planning our family vacation for this summer, and this tag is just adding to my restlessness!  I'm ready to take off and go!

You can visit Michele at her blog Art From the Well.

New Collage Sheet: Memories of Paris

I wish I had made this in time for the recent "Meet Me in Paris" challenge, but better late than never, right? Here is another Paris themed digital collage sheet, this one with lovely old tinted travel postcards of landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe d'Etoile, plus some inchies and a romantic French couple. I call it "Memories of Paris."  I have a whole pile of these pretty old cards... I hope you will enjoy using a few.  Click the picture to see it in my shop!

    Steampunk Spirit

It's the second Monday of the Steampunk Girls blog challenge, and that means another bit of inspiration from the Moonbeams Design Team.  Michele Storms has created this stunning collaged image that is truly in the steampunk spirit:

"because jules verne is the father of steampunk i started this creation by going online to find a good photo of him and also an original book cover from one of his books.  the cover i used here is “voyages extraordinaire” or “extraordinary voyage.”  this steampunk girl is truly ready for adventure!  she has her luggage and her compass and she herself  is dressed to kill.  the hand and eye of fate in the corner above her suggest an element of danger but her patron saint jules verne is right behind her luggage.  what could go wrong?

the steampunk girl and the luggage are from the lunagirl “steampunkgirls” collage sheet.  the jules verne photo and the book cover image are from the internet.  the eye, hand of fate and compass are from dover publications and the background script paper is 7 gypsies."

Get your steampunk ladies and girls packed and ready to go for this challenge!

    New Collage Sheet: Maps!

Yet another brand new Lunagirl collage sheet design!  This one is created with fabulous fascinating maps adapted from antique books.  There are maps of the Eastern and Western hemispheres with illustrations of the signs of the zodiac and angels in the corners, a map of the ancient Mediterranean world, an ancient map of the ocean currents with Latin text, an 18th-century map of Nova Scotia and the St. Lawrence River with lovely calligraphic writing, plus "London and the Suburbs, Seventeenth Century". These are carefully restored and enhanced to be just right. Fascinating images and aged paper make beautiful backgrounds for altered art projects of all kinds!  Click on this link to be taken to a page to purchase and download: http://www.summertownsun.com/lunagirl/W-Lunagirl-Collage-Sheets-NEW.htm
