Lunagirl Challenge: MOTHER

What could be more appropriate or more inspiring in the month of May than a challenge on the theme of Mothers and motherhood. Grandmothers are welcome, too, and even Mother Earth, Mother Mary, and mother goddesses!

And we would actually welcome Father and Daddy as well, since I won't get to do a theme just for them in June...

Please note this challenge will run for THREE weeks rather than the usual two...

I love it when you use Lunagirl images, and I hope you'll go take a look at my collections... but that's not a requirement!  But do remember that if you use a Lunagirl image, you will be entered TWICE in the drawing! I welcome everyone and every style but also want to give a little something extra to my wonderful customers! Most important is have fun, get creative, and enjoy vintage style.

New Collage Sheets for Father's Day

I try to "keep you posted" about new digital collage sheets.  Here are a few I created recently featuring men and boys (and cowboys!) just in time for Father's Day cards and crafts.  See all of these plus my other designs featuring the gentlemen, and traditionally "male" themes such as vintage trains and autos, at Lunagirl.com.

Other nice options for Dad include my Antique Daguerreotypes CD, which has hundreds of photos of men (great for Vintage Gothic themes also -- hint), African-American Photo CD, and Vintage Women and Men CD.

Friday Freebie for Father's Day Cards

Thought I would share a few images that might be nice for Father's Day cards. We have some father and mother images on our Holidays Volume Two CD, plus lots of pictures of men on our Vintage Women & Men CD. Dads (and brothers and husbands and sons) might also like some of the images on our Vintage Transportation CD (cars, planes, trains, etc.), our Art of the American West CD, our Animals CD, Fish CD, Lighthouses Photos, Magician Posters... something for everyone! Father's Day is coming up on June 21, which is also the official first day of summer.
