Birthday Flowers

Hi, I hope you are having a good week.
It's crazy here... I've gone from having a horribly sick baby, to having a horribly sick husband. Luckily, I've been mostly OK... just as well with all the extra laundry I've had to do!
Anyway - I have a reject card to share - one that I submitted to Paper Crafts Birthday call that wasn't picked up.
It features the beautiful new Etched Daisy stamp by Hero Arts and patterned papers from MME's Tangerine 6 x 6 pad. Love.

And when it's time to send the card - I'll add the recipient's birth date to the little tab at the top. Cool!!

That's it for now, I am still working through my amazing Studio Calico box of goodies. :)
See you soon.

P.S. Just thought I'd share a pic of the mini Valentine's cupcakes I made for Lily and her little friends. Vanilla with raspberry frosting. Mmmm.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Special Day

E.T.A - SORRY!! This card was requested for publication today! Bad time to share!!
So it's all go here... my Studio Calico box arrived yesterday with my March kits, and I am busy, busy, busy.
But, I've had to make time to drop in and share this very girly card created with some new Simon Says stamps. This dress and sentiment are from the brand new Like Your Style set, and all the pretty papers are from THIS pad. How cute is that heart paper???

A very simple card, with a lovely sentiment - perfect for a bridal shower perhaps.
Have a great day.

Studio Calico 'Front Row' February Kit... Day 4

So today is my final post sharing my February Kit cards, made with the Front Row kits.
First, a card created mainly with the Project Life kit. I think this card would be good for a masculine Valentine's card. I love the woodgrain journaling card and the blue star paper. :)

I die cut all the hearts with THESE and THESE Simon Says dies.

Next, a doubly interacive card - both a shaker card AND a pocket card. :) It features some of the digital stamps, as well as the Card Kit and more of those mini hearts.

The little card fits into the pocket. The shaker element was created by stitching vellum to the patterned paper and filling it with die cut hearts. Fun. :)

And my FINAL card... this one features only the Junior Mints Add-On.

This textured hexagon paper is delicious.

And that's all folks. :)
Time to get started on my March projects. YAY! Seriously - that box of yummyness arriving on my doorstep is just the best, and it's due TODAY!!!
I'll be back soon. Take care.

It's time for my second sketch challenge... (see HERE for my first challenge if you missed it...)
A nice, clean and simple layout for this one. :)
Microsoft Word - Document3
And here is my card. Patterned papers from my current favourite pad, Fourteen, an amazingly sweet stamp from THIS set by Simon Says Stamp, and some cute chipboard by American Crafts.

Studio Calico 'Front Row' February Kit... Day 3

Hello.
I've got more Studio Calico 'Front Row' February kit cards to share with you today... lots of bright colours today.
My first card uses a card and stickers from the Project Life kit, as well as some very fussy stitching! It took ages. :)

I die cut a butterfly from the journaling card, then put it back in place with foam adhesive, lifting the wings for dimension.

Next, a card that would be perfect for giving money or a gift card to a friend. I actually used one of the larger Project Life kit cards as the base of this card,

And that flower was cut from one of the patterned papers from the cute Junior Mints Add-Ons. Yummy gold glitter...

And finally, a mini card featuring papers and a stamp from the card kit, along with some punched butterflies.

That's all I have for today.
I hope you are enjoying my Studio Calico cards. I am certainly enjoying making them. :)
Have a good day.
