Well, maybe this blog hop will help. Check out some of the creative ideas Stampin' Up! demonstrators have prepared for you and by the time you're done maybe, just maybe, you'll have a better idea of what you want to order.
Or, if you're like me, you'll still want all of it! BWG
So, I wanted to WOW you and it took me a while to come up with what to do. The first thing I did was check out some of the fun folds that are out there and I came up with one called Double Lever Card. There are many examples, templates and youtube videos on the internet where you can get instructions to cut and make this card. I am not going to give any one person the credit for the fold because who knows who came up with it first. I will share instructions with you too.
Let me show you my first attempt at using the Double Lever Card fold with one of the Christmas bundles from the Stampin' Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog.

Materials List:
- Hometown Greetings Edgelits
- Night In Bethlehem stamp set for the snow background
- Hearts Come Home for the sentiment
- So Saffron, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Garden Green card stock
- Woodgrain 6x6 designer series paper stack
- Night of Navy marker
- White Craft ink pad
- Snail
- Double Sided Adhesive or Xyron
- Aleene
- Big Shot
- Optional Silhouette Cameo electronic cutter
As many of you know I have a Silhouette Cameo electronic cutter so this lever card base can be cut using files in the Silhouette store by Lori Whitlock titled A2 Double Lever Fold Card. She has one with square panels and one with circle panels. This is what I used but I didn't want to leave out those of you who don't have a Sihouette so here are instructions for making the base portion of the card using your Stampin' Trimmer.
Cut three pieces of whatever color cardstock you choose to use, my example is Whisper White, 8.5" x 5.5" and one piece 9" x 5.5"
- Place one piece of the 8.5' x 5.5" piece on your trimmer, landscape orientation,
- Place left edge of card stock at 7 7/8"
- Place blade at 1.25" and cut down to 4.25"
- Move left edge of card stock to 4 7/8", place blade at 1.25" and cut down to 4.25"
- Lift blade and move the left edge of the card stock to 4.25 and score top to bottom (this is the center fold)
- Rotate card stock 180*, still in landscape orientation repeat steps 2-4
- Rotate card stock 90* now in portrait orientation place left edge at 4.25", blade at 5/8" and cut down to 3 5/8"
- Lift blade and move it to 4 7/8" and cut down to 7 7/8"
- Rotate card stock 180*, still in portrait orientation, repeat steps 7-8
- Place the 9' x 5.5" piece of card stock on the paper trimmer in landscape orientation left edge at 8.5, score from top to bottom to create a tab
- Repeat steps 2 - 5 above
- Rotate card stock 180*, still in landscape mode,, tabbed end will be to the left
- Place left edge of card stock on 8 3/8", blade at 1.25", cut down to 4.25"
- Move left edge of card stock to 5 3/8", blade at 1.25", cut down to 4.25"
- Rotate card stock 90*, now in portrait orientation with non-tabbed end at the top of the trimmer platform,
- Place left edge of card stock at 4.25, blade at 5/8", cut down to 3 5/8"
- Lift blade and place at 4 7/8", cut down to 7 7/8"
- Flip card stock over keeping non-tabbed edge at the top of the trimmer and maintaining portrait orientation, repeat steps 7-8
This will produce two rectangular pieces each with two 3" squares cut out and one with a 1/2" tab. Place glue on the 1/2" tab and attach these two pieces together. Click on the image to see it full size.

Base Card Part Two: Make two of these exactly the same using 8.5 x 5.5 card stock
- Place card stock landscape orientation onto paper trimmer left edge at 7 7/8", blade at 1.25", cut down to 4.25"
- Move left edge of card stock to 6 3/8" and score from top edge down to 1.25, lift score blade and re-position at 4.25" and score to bottom of card
- Move left edge of card stock to 4.25 and score from top to bottom this is the center fold
- Rotate card stock 180*, keep landscape orientation and repeat steps 1-2
- Rotate card stock 90* to portratit orientation, place left edge of card stock at 4.25" , blade at 5/8" , cut down to 2 1/8"
- Lift blade and move to 6 3/8", cut down to 7 7/8"
- Rotate card stock 180*, still in portrait orientation, place left edge of card stock at 4.25, blade at 5/8", cut down to 2 1/8"
- Lift blade and move it to 6 3/8", cut down to 7 7/8"
- Repeat Steps 1-8 for second piece, both will be exactly the same
Fold these two pieces on the center score line like a regular card. Fold back the two end sections on the score lines.

Place glue on the portion that is folded back, match the edges to part one piece sliding the "lever" portion through the cut out square portion of part one. This creates your base card.
On to embellishing:
A. Cut 4 (four) 3 x 3" squares of Night of Navy, stamp them with the snow image from Night In Bethlehem stamp set using White Craft ink. Set aside to dry
B. Cut a piece of double sided adhesive 6 x 6 inches, peel off one side and attach a 6x6 piece of Woodgrain designer series paper
C. Using the dies from Hometown Greetings Edgelits cut all three scenes, once cut trim them out so there are 3 separate pieces.
D. Peel off the backing and stick them to So Saffron card stock and fussy cut them out. (Alternative option is to cut the three pieces from the wood grain DSP, then run them through a Xyron to make them sticky backed.) (Alternative 2, if you have a Silhouette Cameo you can scan the images into your Silhouette and cut them out with that. You can also trace the outside edge of each piece and cut out the backing to stick them to.) I did this so that there would be yellow like lights shining from the windows.
E. Die cut a set from Garden Green to get the trees, cut them free and glue them to the wood grain pieces.
F. Color the snow man white using Whisper White Craft ink, I added eyes, mouth and buttons as well as a hat with markers once the white ink was dry.
G. Once the village pieces are ready I laid out the 4 Night of Navy squares and fit them to the squares cutting them off and matching up the edges. I then attached them to scraps of Whisper White to look like snow and attached them to the Night of Navy squares
H. I also stamped the smoke coming from the chimmneys after the houses were attached and used a marker to darken some of the accent sections of the houses.

I. The squares can then be attached to the main card. Line up the edge with the free edge of the "lever" piece
J. To stamp the sentiment I wanted only one word for each section so I inked each word using a marker and stamped it, them cleaned my stamp really well and inked the next word and stamped it and so on till there was a word in each seciton.
You may want to add some other embellishments like I did with this second one using the moon, stars and santa from the Hearts Come Home set with Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight ink.

So there you have it. My WOW (hopefully) project. Certainly not a make n take as it is a bit more time consuming to make but well worth the effort for the end result.
Enjoy! And hop on to the rest of the group to see what they have made.
