today, 10/18, is already a sad day in the lexicon of my life.
it just got sadder. i was given the terrible news this morning that one of my sister's friends committed suicide on friday. he was a beautiful boy, inside and out, and my heart hurts for his family and friends and my sister.
the world had so much to offer you, jake. it was just the beginning.
