Beach Wall Hanging - for Graphic 45

Today I have a project for Graphic 45 April challenge - Mix & Match. I love the marine atmosphere so I chose two collections in this type - By the Sea and Sun Kissed. These collections match not only thematically but also in color. I love both, and the "By the Sea" collection in Deluxe Collector's Edition is a real treasure.

I have prepared a marine banner for you, completely without any media or complicated products or techniques. I only splashed it in white, you can easily do it with white ink or diluted paint.

To make the project rich, cut out many elements from paper. Use stickers, die-cuts, pieces of string and gauze. Stick everything with foam tape or cardboard, then the work will have depth, it will be more interesting. I also distressed the edges of each element so that they do not melt with the background. The last accent are the white pebbles that. Is important to choose glue, that will be transparent when dry. Then it will look more natural and aesthetic.

Colorful tags with Liquid Acrylics

Today I have two tags for you, with lots of layers and details. Most of the items come from a special box on my desk, where I put in various things, leftovers from other projects. You definitely have such a box! :) I found in it, among others, resin castings - which were painted black gesso and covered with different colors of waxes.

However, first and foremost, I wanted to show you how universal liquid acrylics are. I used them here almost like watercolors. I lightly diluted them and painted the background of my tags. The paints are beautifully combined, creating smooth transitions, great help is spraying with water. Remember that you have to act quickly, because the paints are permanent after drying and you will not do anything with them anymore, the water will not work. Exactly you can see it on my video, at the bottom of this post.

To make the background more interesting, I also used new stamps - Old Paper Work. I stamp them with brown ink to better blend into the background. With the same color of ink, I distressed the edges.

I completed my tags with matching photos and sentiments from the Art Daily collection, they fit always and everywhere. It was my cherry on top.

The compositions are very simple and I encourage you to create such projects. Play with products on such small forms, it gives a lot of fun!

Life stories - vintage canvas for Finnabair CT

today I have a feminine vintage project for you, I made it for Finnabair Creative Team. I decided to use large amount of embellishments and flowers. I placed the composition on a round base, which I decorated with a Passiflora stencil. I made the pattern using 3d matte gel, and after drying, I painted everything with black gesso. Art Alchemy Sparks paints look great on such a surface and their colours bring out a beautiful, flourish shapes. To emphasize all these patterns I also used several colors of waxes.

I wanted to make the central part of the project highly exposed, so I hid a lot of tiny twigs behind it. Among them, I put paper flowers and those made of resin, from the new moulds that I covered with black gesso and highlighted with waxes.
