It's time for next project with new elements from Mitform. In this mixed media banner I used arrows. I made rusty and industrial background with Finnabair rust pastes and Sizzix embossing folder - Foundry.

I can't stop playing with Sizzix 3D texture fades folders. Today I want to show you a very spontaneous work, the beginning of which was just testing the possibility of one of the folders - Mechanics. I didn't want to "waste" work and used it as a background in this project. I made embossing on white watercolor paper, which I painted with black archival ink and Finnabair wax - "Old Silver". I played for a long time to achieve this effect, I tried, I tested and I am very happy with it.

I haven't used many embellishments here. The main elements are MitForm gears and Inventor stamp (Stampers Anonymous). I think that was enough.

I love to make such projects. Seemingly small, but I devote a lot of time and attention to them, refining every detail. It's my thing!

Be Authentic - tiny treasures

today I want to show you a very tiny, but very special project for me. 

I recently read a very interesting post on the Finnabair's blog, and it gave me a lot to think about. I decided to do more for myself, show what I have in my heart, in my soul. Have more fun while creating, don't feel the pressure.

These small ATC were created spontaneously during the evening session in my studio. I want to play with my new purchases - amazing Sizzix embossing folder (Texture Fades - Botanical) and Oxide inks. I really love that 3D effect! A beautiful, spatial pattern, with lots of details. As a base I used Artist Trading Tags from Graphic 45. They worked amazing with embossing folders!

dzisiaj mam dla Was mały tag, z dużą ilością warstw. Bazę zembossowałam za pomocą folderu 3D Sizzix - Mechanics, a następnie podkreśliłam wypukłości tuszami Distress. Użyłam zarówno tradycyjnego tuszu jak i Oxide. Dodałam jeszcze trochę wosków i kontrastowy kolor tuszu alkoholowego. Polecam Wam takie zabawy z mediami, obserwacje, jak ze sobą reagują, można dzięki temu osiągnąć naprawdę ciekawe efekty.

today I have a small tag for you, with lots of layers. I embossed the base with Sizzix 3D embossing folder - Mechanics, and then highlighted the details with Distress inks. I used both -  traditional and Oxide ink. I added some waxes and a contrasting color of alcoholic ink. I encourage you to play with the media, observations, how they react with each other, you can achieve really interesting results.

Nie każdy projekt, który robicie, musi być użyteczny. Bawcie się, eksperymentujcie, nie wszystko musi być robione "po coś". Niech to będzie dla waszej przyjemności, dla relaksu, dla nauki. Sięgajcie po małe formy, dzięki którym później łatwiej będzie Wam rozwinąć się na dużym projekcie. 

Not every project must be useful. Have fun, experiment, not everything has to be done "for something". Let it be for your pleasure, for relaxation, for learning. Reach for small forms, thanks to which later it will be easier for you to develop on a large project.
