NAKED NOVEMBER ... 'AND THIS IS THE WAY OF LIFE'

November (Hubbard Lake, MI) "Have you ever noticed a tree standing naked against the sky, How beautiful it is? All its branches are outlined, and in its nakedness There is a poem, there is a song. Every leaf is gone and it is waiting for the spring. When the spring comes, it again fills the tree with The music of many leaves, Which in due season fall and are blown away. And this is the way of life." ~ Krishnamurti November (Hubbard Lake, MI)

'THERE IS WIND WHERE THE ROSE WAS ...' ~ NOVEMBER

~ Fading memories ____________________ November There is wind where the rose was, Cold rain where sweet grass was, And clouds like sheep Stream o'er the steep Grey skies where the lark was. Nought warm where your hand was, Nought gold where your hair was, But phantom, forlorn, Beneath the thorn, Your ghost where your face was. Cold wind where your voice was, Tears, tears where my heart was, And ever with me, Child, ever with me, Silence where hope was. ~ Walter de la Mare
