    A tasty soup, i used mild Italian sausage. I make my own beef broth so i used that,i did not have great northern beans so i used black beans.I found 20 min. not long enough for the flavors to meld so i simmered it for another 40 min. It is a good soup but it does need some herbs or spices. Half way through i tasted it and i found it a bit bland. i added about a tablespoon each of minced rosemary, basil and i sauted some onion and threw that in.
    6-15 ounce cans of broth( 90 oz) sounded like a lot but it is not, some boils off and some is absorbed in the veggies.
    I did not add spinach, my husband can not eat it.

    You asked about the caramel sauce, it's from a jar at the grocery store. I warmed it up and dumped it on the cake!! You can make your own too. I don't like to make it homemade because I think the store caramel is better;

    Not in her original recipe, but I'm sure you could certainly add a top crust. Not sure if that affects the baking time, I'd have to research that! :)

    The mesurement depends on how much you want ... breads, doughs and these kind of stuff are formulas because nothing can be exact.... thats the reason giving you exact mesurements is nearly impossible. For example you have 1000g of flour, you'll need 610g of water, 15 g of salt, 10 g of olive oil, 6,5g of cake yeast. Thats as simple as that ! Sorry for being confusing
