  You'll probably think I'm bats but here goes. A carrot cake I had about 3 years ago led me to The Frog's recipe; the man who made it told me he used their recipe. I googled it and found your post of it. Thank you!! BUT I am also so curious about the recipe YOU mention preferring in the notes about The Frog's. The cake from The Frog's recipe was THE BEST carrot cake I've ever had in my life. If you like another recipe MORE...I need to know what it is. And, since we're all of us stuck at home, I figured now was a good time to follow that culinary string. ;)

  We really enjoyed this! It tastes so much better than the store bought French onion dip. I really like the Worcestershire in this. It gives it that "beefy" umami flavour, like a French onion soup has.
  Next time I'd like to try a sweet onion, Vidalia or walla walla, instead of a yellow onion, and maybe add something green to it like fresh chives or a herb. But it was certainly delicious as written!

  Love it! I rarely measure when I make ambrosia, but this makes it's easy and it's a perfect amount of sour cream. One of my favorite childhood desserts! Thanks for sharing. :)

  Nov 28/16 Loved this cake recipe. Moist and full of chocolate flavour. I used a buttercream frosting which I added 1 oz of melted chocolate. Will be making again.

  However I vaguely remember cream filled vanilla wafers (the very thin wafer with cream filling in layers) as the cookie ingredient. Do you think they could be used?

  Just read that you have The Frog recipes. Born in Philly and now living in SE Florida - missing the good old days of baking and have started again. Looking for some GREAT recipes from scratch and my girlfriend told me about The Frog. How can I get some more of his recipes from you?
