  This is a very tasty chicken pot pie. The chicken filling has awesome flavor. However, it is very soup like and one you’ll need to eat with a spoon. The puff pastry did not work for me. The egg wash turned it into a gooey mess and the puff pastry didn’t raise. I reviewed a couple of similar recipes on how to make puff pastry shells and only the top is brushed with egg wash, not each individual layer. There is a lot more on my written review.   @ LynninTN make a simple syrup (1 part sugar, 2 parts water), bring to a boil over med-high heat, add in raspberries (1/2 - 1 cup fresh or frozen). Mash as the cook, drain into a cheesecloth lined collander into a bowl, or jar or bottle. Violla- raspberry syrup.
