    I recently bought the small PARS DRC200
    It BURNS THE RICE EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I have tried everything, I read the instructions very carefully and have followed them. The rice cooks very fast, and then as soon as the steam starts being reduced (because the water has mostly evaporated) which is usually in 15 mns then I can immediately smell the burning tahdig at the bottom, it turns black each and every time. It is either badly designed or there is a serious problem with the temperature: is there a way to reduce the heat???
    Please let me knowld keep or throw it away.

    The SECOND time I made this recipe I did NOT cover the casserole dish (unlike the FIRST time). The pudding did NOT cook in 1.5 hours. I will definitely COVER THE CASSEROLE every time I make this.

    I have made this "Copy Cat 'The Green Door' Roasted Squash Salad" many times because I love it. Today I made it and found it didn't taste as good as usual. The only thing I can think of is that I made it out of season. I usually make it in the fall when squash is at its natural sweetest (and use butternut squash instead of acorn squash). I updated the instructions accordingly. Today I was cleaning out the pantry when I found an acorn squash. Also, this recipe makes a ton of dressing. I have more than enough dressing even when I halve the dressing recipe. I don't mind having extra dressing though.
