    The recipe was actually devised by Nigella Lawson and it is from her book How to Eat 1998. The inspiration came from a conversation describing a school dinner called pig's bum by the pupils. Anyway, I have actually made it and found it too sweet with too little rhubarb flavour. However it had a good fluffy consistency.

    hai dana, i have tried mr.daniels cake without the alcohol, turn out to be ......delish. my niece love it so much, and force me to do it again whenever they come and visit me... they ate the cake like a shredding machine shredding a paper hahah.
