    Other than a few extra items in my rub, this is how I do my bacon, also. And, I agree with 'CopCook' - you can not beat this bacon!! We're on the road, but I'm anxious to get back to my smoker!

    This is exactly what I was looking for and will make it on Wednesday. I will use ciabatta bread that has been brushed with garlic, oil and parmesan, and toasted, though.

    Update: was very good, apricots kind of took over the flavor until you bite into a chunk of pineapple, then a burst of flavor......bring out the toast!!!!!!!!!!
