How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Combine brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.
  • Beat and scrape bowl often, until creamy.
  • Add egg and vanilla.
  • Continue beating until well blended.
  • Add flour & bakinging powder, beat until mixed well.
  • Shape dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on a UNgreased baking sheet.
  • Make indentions in each cookie with thumb, deep enough to add filling.
  • Combine all filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Fill each cookie wi 1 rounded tsp full.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes oruntil lightly browned.
  • Cool 1 minute and remove from baking sheet.
