Garlic And Rosemary Shrimp

- 2 lbs. raw unpeeled medium shrimp shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 large garlic bulb shopping list
- 1/2 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 3 dried red chile peppers shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped rosemary shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper shopping list
- garnishes: lemon slices, red chile peppers, fresh rosemary sprigs shopping list
How to make it
- Peel shrimp. leaving tails on, devein, set aside
- Melt butter with oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cut garlic bulb in half crosswise, separate, and peel cloves. Add to butter mixture, sauté 2 min.
- Stir in wine and next 8 ingredients, cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
- Add shrimp: cook 5 to 6 minutes or until shrimp just turn pink. Remove bay leaves. Garnish if desired.
- Can be served hot over pasta and cold as an appetizer.
