Boxcar Children Casserole

This is a simple recipe from The Boxcar Children Cookbook.....If you have children and they haven't read the series it is a must....
Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion-chopped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 2 T. parsley chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic crushed shopping list
- 2 cans tomato soup shopping list
- 1 soup can of water shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni shopping list
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In large pan:
- Cook gound beef and onion.
- Drain.
- Add: pepper, pasley, garlic, soup, water and macaroni.
- Bring mixture to boil.
- Stir.
- Cover and turn to low heat.
- Simmer for 20 min.
- Stir often.
- Put into casserole dish.
- Put cheese on top.
- Cover and let set to allow cheese melt.
