Moms Saucy Party Meatballs

- MEATBALLS: shopping list
- 2lb. ground beef shopping list
- 2c. Ritz Crackers; finely crushed shopping list
- 1 egg; beaten shopping list
- 1t. salt shopping list
- couple of dashes of pepper shopping list
- 1/2c. dried minced onion shopping list
- SAUCE: shopping list
- 1-1/2c. ketchup shopping list
- 1/2c. water shopping list
- 1-1/2c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 clove garlic; minced shopping list
- 1/4t. salt shopping list
- 1onion; finely chopped shopping list
- 1 lemon; sliced shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all meatball ingredients until well mixed.
- Roll meat mixture into approximately 100 meatballs.
- Bake @ 325F for 20 min.
- Meanwhile: mix all sauce ingredients together & heat through.
- Stir in the lemon slices after removing sauce from stovetop.
- Remove meatballs from oven and transfer into a large crockpot.
- Pour sauce (with lemon slices) over meatballs and toss gently to coat.
- Keep meatballs warm in crockpot set on low.
- NOTE:
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen in the sauce. Remove the lemon slices prior to freezing.
