Lisas Pulled Pork

- Dry rub: shopping list
- 1/4 cup salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry mustard shopping list
- 1/4 cup ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 cup paprika shopping list
- 1/4 cup chili powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup yellow mustard shopping list
- 1 cup Frank's red hot sauce shopping list
- 1 cup white vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup molasses shopping list
- 5-6 pound pork shoulder roast, bone in (more flavor) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix dry rub ingredients. Place roast on a large pan or platter and liberally coat with all of the dry rub. Cover well and place in fridge for about 24 hours.
- When ready to cook, place roast and whatever you can scrape off the pan or platter into a large dutch oven or other large pan with a tight fitting lid. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over roast.
- Bake at 300 for about 6 hours until it is falling off the bone.
- When done, remove bone and shred with a fork or tongs.
- Serve on buns with lots of napkins.
