Daiquiri Liqueur

- Zest of 4 limes shopping list
- 3 Cups of light rum shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups of superfine granulated sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Blot zest with paper towel to remove any excess natural oils.
- Put peel into a 4 cup screw top jar.
- Add 2 cups of the rum. Close jar and store in a cool, dark place for 2 days, or until rum has absorbed the flavor and color of the peel.
- Strain peel from rum, put strained rum back into the jar and add sugar; shaking vigorously until sugar has dissolved.
- Add remaining one cup of rum and stir until rum is once again clear.
- Close jar and store in cool, dry place for one week to age.
- Enjoy!
