Blue Cheese And Kalamata Olive Spread

- 8 ounces pitted kalamata olives (can use black olives or your favorite olives) shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
- 6 tablespoons olive oil, maybe more if needed shopping list
- 1/4 pound blue cheese, may also use Roquefort or gorgonzola shopping list
- Small loaf French bread, thinly sliced shopping list
How to make it
- In bowl of a food processor, place olives, garlic, nuts, and olive oil
- Process with on/off pulses until mixture is finely chopped and blended
- Add cheese, pulse until a smooth consistency
- Make sure that the paste is moist. May have to add more olive oil
- by the teaspoon
- Transfer to bowl and refrigerate until about 15 minutes before serving
