Mix first 3 ingredients. Spread on a pizza pan or other round dish. Scatter shrimp over cheese mixture. Add layers of seafood sauce, mozzarella, green pepper, onions, and tomatoes. Cover and chill. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
A lighter variation: Substitute the cream cheese for 1 1/4 cups cottage cheese and use light sour cream and mayonnaise. Combine these three ingredients in a food processor until smooth.( I also like to add a bit of lemon juice. ) Spread on plate; add remaining layers. Tell your guests only after they've licked the plate. They're always surprised that it's a lighter version.
