I wish I had a nickel for every time my Mother made this frosting. She was of the frame of mind that if we were going to have dessert then it had to have nutritional value in it. So we only got chocolate frosting on our birthday cakes only if we requested (begged for) it. Read more So she would make this frosting because after all peanut butter has nutritional value. ¾ of a box of confectioner’s sugar shopping list
2 TB vanilla extract shopping list
milk shopping list

How to make it

Add peanut butter to confectioner’s sugar. Add the vanilla extract and enough milk to make the icing spread able.

makes sense...PB has nutritional value....But so does Chocolate!!! Anyway...this would be good on ice cream too...I'm an ice cream freak..I'd add a chunk of semisweet melted chocolate to it also, and pour it over some homemade vanilla..YUMMM
