Bacon And Clam Pizza

- 2 6 1/2 ounce cans chopped clams, drain, reserving 1/4 cup juice shopping list
- cooking spray shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cups thinly sliced onion shopping list
- 1 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 1 lb Italian cheese pizza crust ( such as Boboli) shopping list
- 1/2 C refrigerated light alfredo sauce (regular Alfredo may be used) shopping list
- 4 tsp chopped, precooked bacon (2 slices) shopping list
- 1/3 C shredded fresh parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbl chopped fresh or 2 tsp dried parsley shopping list
How to make it
- 400 oven
- Drain clams, reserving 1/4 C juice
- Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium high until hot
- Add onion and thyme and saute 8 minutes or until onion is slightly browned
- Add reserved clam juice and cook until juice is evaporated, scraping to loosen any browned bits
- Stir in black pepper
- Place pizza crust on baking sheet
- Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over crust; top with onion mixture, clams, bacon, cheese and crushed red pepper
- Bake at 400 for 12 minutes or until cheese is melted
- Sprinkle with parsley
- 6 servings
