How to make it

  • Scald in double boiler milk.
  • In a médium bowl, combine egg yolks, sugar, salt, pumpkin and spices. Add to hot milk and cook for 4 minutes longer. Cool.
  • Add cream and pecans. Pour into freezer container.
  • Crack until stiff.

    Pumpkin ice cream is one of my favorite flavors but we can only get it seasonally here. This recipe will be very nice to have.I have one of those small electric ice cream frezzers that will be the perfect size for your recipe. Thanks!
