Rice Burger

- For Teriyaki Chicken: shopping list
- 1 chicken drumstick or Breast, deboned shopping list
- Marinade: shopping list
- - 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- - 1 tablespoon mirin shopping list
- - 1 tablespoon wine shopping list
- - 2 tablespoon soy sauce shopping list
- For pork Patties with Vegetables: shopping list
- 50g Minced pork shopping list
- 50g fish Paste shopping list
- 2 slice of onions, diced shopping list
- 2 Cai Xin leaves, chopped finely. shopping list
- EXTRA INGREDIENTS: shopping list
- Some lettuces shopping list
- 3 slice onions, saute shopping list
- 1 slice tomato (my son doesnt want it) shopping list
- mayonnaise or tomato sauce shopping list
How to make it
- For Teriyaki Chicken:
- Mix the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken and marinate for at least ½ hour.
- Dust chicken with corn flour and sauté in pan till lightly burnt. Pour away excess oil.
- Pour the remaining marinade for the chicken in the pan.
- Cook till the sauce thickens.
- Remove and serve hot.

- For Pork Patties with Vegetables:
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Heat the pan with 2 teaspoon oil.
- Scoop some mixture and press out flat on the pan.
- Pan fry one side till you see the side facing up turns white on the edge before flipping.
- Pan fry the other side till cook.
- Dish and serve.
- Note:
- You can choose not to use fish paste. Then you have to add 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce and corn flour.
- You may use any other vegetables you wish.
- FOR BOTH:
- Place lettuces on the bottom followed by tomatoes
- Now place the chicken or the pork followed by onions and Mayonnaise or tomato sauce
- Press some rice and shape it into a circle and top it.
- Use a piece of nori to wrap it.
