Cedar Planked Pork Loin

- ½ C BBQ sauce (your favorite) shopping list
- ¼ C teriyaki sauce shopping list
- Grated peel of 1 medium orange shopping list
- 1 Tbl oil shopping list
- 1 boneless pork loin 2 to 2 ½ lbs shopping list
- 1 untreated cedar plank ( 14x7x1) or whatever you can purchase, we went to a lumber yard shopping list
How to make it
- Immerse plank in water 4 hrs to overnight (this is better), weigh down to keep submerged
- Combine BBQ sauce, Teriyaki sauce and orange peel; reserve ½ for serving with cooked meat, (sauce may be heated for serving with meat)
- Brush one side of plank with oil, place roast on oiled side of plank
- Grill one hour or until thermometer registers 150, turning and brushing roast with sauce during last 20 minutes of cooking
- Discard any sauce left from brushing
- Remove meat from grill; cover loosely with foil
- Let stand 10 minutes
- Slice thin and serve with reserved sauce

Great idea. We have done chicken, shrimp and salmon plank grilling. But have never tried pork or beef. We also go to a lumber yard and buy our cedar, then cut it into the appropriate lengths. This deserves a 5! On my recipe website "FareShare" yo...more
