Dumplings For Stew
Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/2 cup milk
How to make it
- Add the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt to a med. bowl.
- Cut in the butter until there are no large bits
- Add the milk and beat until smooth.
- Drop by spoon into the bubbling stew, try to get the dough on top of a potato and not in the liquid. [Photo25994]
- Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Cover and cook for an additional 15.
- Serve and enjoy.
