How to make it

  • In a pan, heat the oil, add the onion and cook gently for some 2 minutes or so;
  • Add the chilli and continue cooking a further 2 or 3 minutes until the onion softens a bit;
  • Add the spices, mix well and cook, stirring, for a further minute;
  • Add the beans, mix well and heat through thoroughly, stirring occasionally, for some 3 minutes or so;
  • Season to taste and serve with Toast, Pitta Bread etc.
